It was the perfect little getaway. Charming and clean cabin, all warm and toasty upon our arrival and throughout. The grounds had various paths to walk along and explore and the hot tub and fire pit rounded out the stay with relaxation and comfort. Loved it and will be back again!

Our stay at this cabin was absolutely wonderful! 😍The place felt so cozy and welcoming — everything was spotless and thoughtfully prepared. You can tell how much love and care went into every little detail.🥹😍
The nature around is stunning, and we truly enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere. The host was incredibly kind and made us feel right at home.
We were especially touched by the little treats — the marshmallows and cookies were such a sweet surprise (and so delicious!). Thank you also for the oatmeal — it made our morning breakfast perfect.🫣
My husband and I had the most relaxing and happy time here. We’ll definitely come back again!😊

My friend & I had an amazing time at Dale & Colleen's. They are wonderful hosts - friendly, helpful and there were so many more great amenities than we expected or read about. The property is expansive and is well maintained. Our cabin and washroom was so clean and there were many added touches such as body wash, soap and towels. The cats were very friendly and sweet - we loved them! Beds were very comfortable and cozy. Too many awesome things to list!! We'll be back again without a doubt.

The cabin was very clean and comfortable, I loved the trails and the space they have to wander around their land to see the beautiful landscape. The cats were very friendly and a joy to be around. Dale and Coleen were very accommodating and were great to talk to. Would highly recommend visiting and will hopefully be returning at some point!

I loved our stay at the log cabin. It was cozy. Comforting. Peaceful and quiet. The communal hot tub served us well after a day of driving and hiking. The washroom was VERY clean. Loved the trails, the beaver dam and Sully - the little cat that followed us around on the trails and kept us company. If you are looking for a quick getaway from the city life or hoping to relax and chill for a week surrounded by the peace of the forest, then this is your place. Cook a meal on the propane stove or wood fire pit, read a book or simple spend an evening watching the beavers build their dam. I loved how welcoming Dave, and his wife was. Glad they are building an external sink and a communal kitchen to welcome longer stays and bigger groups. We would definitely go back.

My bestfriend and I booked this retreat for a peaceful gateway and it was a huge success! The land is beautiful, sleeping in the cabin is a unique stay. We loved the experience since it offered us the best of both worlds: spending time in nature with the incredible sound of trees and fire, while enjoying the comfort of a cozy bed, a functional washroom/ shower, and a hot tub to relax. We were able to cook our food on a stovetop, and everything we needed was available. Being isolated does give a unique feel to the environment and sounds around you, I really recommend it! Dale was beyond welcoming and helpful during our stay, we learned lots from him and it was nice to have company!
- A couple of things to keep in mind: the last 10 minutes of the drive towards the property may be a bumpy road because of the rocks - just keep on going; you’re on the right track! In terms of cellular service, we were able to send a couple of texts in two specific spots that Dale has generously offered to show us, but I recommend downloading your offline maps before arriving and making sure your car’s GPS is up to date just in case. If you have a relatively new/ updated iPhone, you’re able to send messages through a Satellite connection. I’m certain you’d enjoy your relaxing stay on this beautiful land!

I booked a 2 night stay with my family in the Rest Nest Cabin and fell in love with this whole property. The surrounding nature is so peaceful and beautiful. Best part was the hot tub when you are so tired that's what you need. The owners are amazing who will make sure you have the best time. Full of great recommendations for the area. Definitely worth checking out these Cabins for comfy lodging or a great camp spot on this large property. Will definitely book again with our large group of friends next time.

My friends and I had an amazing time here. The cabin was perfect, literally didn't need to bring anything but clothes and food. The walking trails were beautiful, the hot tub was great, but the best part was definitely the cats running around. Sully and the little grey cat were the perfect trail guides!

This was our groups second time visiting Nature Alive retreat, and we had an absolutely wonderful stay. Dale and wife, Colleen, were great hosts, and Sully was really fun to hang with. We explored the trails the property has to offer, and had a blast taking one of Dale's carving courses, which I highly recommend.
Thank you Dale and Colleen for a fantastic weekend.
We will surely be back that way again.

We had an amazing stay at the Rest Nest Cabin over Valentine’s Day weekend with our son. Camp fires and snow shoeing were acouple highlights. Hosts were friendly and very accommodating. Would return!

We stayed at The Rest Nest Cabin, and it was the perfect accommodation for people like us who don’t have any camping gear. Everything you need was provided, and above all, it was clean and well-organized. All you need to bring are your own food and drinks. Outside, there’s a fire pit right in front and a BBQ grill you can use conveniently. There’s also a mini stove inside the cabin, so you can cook wherever is most comfortable for you.
If you like cats, this place is a must-visit because there’s a very friendly cat there. The jacuzzi was a great feature too, and it's only a short drive outside the city, making it an easy getaway. I recommend this place for anyone who wants to experience camping but doesn’t have the gear, like me.
The queen bed was excellent, though the sofa bed could use some repairs on a few springs. Overall, it’s definitely a place I’d want to visit again.

What a beautiful property! We had an amazing stay at the Nature Alive Adventures Retreat. While we didn’t utilize any of the add on packages this trip, we will return again for sure.
Beautiful little cabin with all the amenities you need plus more, and we pretty much had the property to ourselves. It was so serene.
The bed was very comfortable and the cabin stayed warm and cozy. We enjoyed playing some of the games that are there.
The fire pit and hot tub were incredible in the evening under the stars.
The added bonus were the adorable, friendly cats that kept us company.
10/10 recommend!

It is peaceful property. The cabin is well maintained and clean. Amenities are more than enough. The flush toilet, hot shower, vanity are newly built. There are even hand towels for hand wash. The water is soft for shower. Shampoo and body wash are arranged. Gas barbeque grill is equipped each cabin, and it is free of charge for use. Thoughtfully, Extra blanket is also provided. The cabin lighting was bright for night. Cutting board and iron pan is equipped in the cabin. (We didn’t need to use though.) There is a trail for morning walk and the landscape is beautiful. There is a small refrigerator in the cabin, but it doesn’t seem to get low temperature. It was only gotten to 12 Celsius. I wish there would have a dish washing station although the owner offers to use the washroom for dish washing.
Be aware of weak cellular signal in Lone Pine. There is cellular amplifier in the property and there is a spot to use cell phone next of paddle house.
The property is expanding and developing for further potential, and we enjoyed our stay.

Perfect little get away for us! Super cute cabin-clean and quiet. The hot tub was an added bonus. Perfect for some one on one undivided time with each other. We will definitely be back one day.

We loved our hippy hideaway vacation. It was the perfect place to disconnect from the chaos of everyday life and reconnect with Gaia. It was a magical recharge for the soul.
The Rest Nest was perfect for all our needs. It was quiet and cool with amazing airflow.
Was accosted regularly by the four legged furballs that roam, but we didn’t mind. Made it feel more like home.
Weather was hot as Hades, bugs were plentiful… but none of that can be controlled.
Will absolutely be back!!

The thought Dale and Colleen put into their land is evident in the complete retreat they are building. My partner and I stayed the weekend in Nature Alives Log Cabin. A quaint cabin with elegant touches. We walked the land, sat in the tree stand, read in the hot tub, and cooked over the fire. Both hosts were knowledgable, friendly, and inviting. I would love to stay with them again. A four year anniversary well spent.

This particular piece of property, its accommodation and the host Dale were wonderful and exceeded my expectations.
The property is unique , spacious and peaceful.
The amenities is soo nice .
My partner and I stayed in the cabin.
And enjoyed the hotub , and group fire pit.
Lastly our host Dale and his wife were the kindest nicest host I have come across on hip camp.
Also if your on a budget and are looking for a peaceful getaway from daily hectic life . Stay here 🦋🦋🔥🪴🩷
