Beautiful place, cute goats and welcoming owners. We were notified that the place was not ready for us yet, as we booked a place a bit too late. Making the host ( Rachel and her husband) worried that it will not be up to our standard. Matter of fact, it was beyond our expectations regardless. They provided us with a nice grill, water and a clean table, they even wanted to give us some fresh eggs! Hope to come visit soon again, as we were not able to thank you in person. Thank you very much!

Doug went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Both he and Rachel were warm and friendly and we woke up in the morning to discover a dozen farm fresh eggs had been left for us for breakfast.

Doug and Rachel were great! They had a mix up with someone else booking my site. Which is not big deal to me, but Doug found me another site all to myself custom site and mowed me a patch of grass, and they gave me a dozen eggs for free and some water! Great people, excellent quiet place.

Kiki’s Camp Site.
We appreciated being met at the entrance and shown to the location. Unfortunately it was pouring when we arrived and most of the night so we didn’t get to enjoy the area.

I had a wonderful time camping at this lovely site. The hosts were friendly and helpful. The site was peaceful, well-protected by trees, and had everything I needed. I highly recommend it!

Danny’s Croft - 80 Acre Woods
This campground is awesome. The family that own and run the place we're incredible.
When we arrived, we were met at the entrance and guided to our site where there was precut firewood and the s'mores pkg that we ordered at booking. The s'mores pkg was more than enough for our 2 night stay. And when we ran out of firewood, they brought more to us.
We were brought lattes, and a hot chocolate for my son in the morning
My 5 yr old and the 3 adults were invited to see the goat getting milked, and my son got to gather eggs and on the morning we were leaving, they brought by their tortoise "Shelby".
We were the only campers at the time and it was so nice to get away from the noise of the city. The site faces into a field good for many activities and lots of shade for the hot days.
The whole experience was amazing and we got to know the owners a bit and they went way above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable and fun.
We will definitely return and have already recommended it to friends.

Danny’s Croft - 80 Acre Woods
We loved our trip to Danny's 80 Acre Croft. Rachel and her family were incredibly generous and accommodating throughout our stay. The property is beautiful with a thriving ecology to learn about while you explore. Our daughter was given the opportunity to collect fresh eggs, milk a goat and pet sheep while learning about the different animals from Rachel and her family.
The site itself was gorgeous, with plenty of shade to shield us from the hot afternoon sun. Our 23 ft hybrid trailer with slide out fit well and there was a second side to park the truck in the shade as well.
We will be staying here many more times in the future and are incredibly grateful to have met this wonderful family.

We had a lovely time camping at Danny's 80 acre wood. Our cute site was tucked into the treeline so that we could find shade even in our south-facing site.
Honestly, our hosts went above and beyond with their hospitality: from a small s'mores kit
and a potable water tote upon arrival, to lending us a hatchet (which I'm pretty sure they bought new for us - completely unnecessary, but so kind). They regularly checked in on us when they did they chores for the sheep and chickens; asking if we needed anything. Really, our hosts went above and beyond in so many ways.
The property was picturesque. Rolling fields of hay peppered with groves of trees that contained wild raspberries and Saskatoons that we snacked on while we walked our dogs. At night, the provided laterns lit up our site, and coyotes called as the sun set. Onsite was lovely, but it also served as a great home base for day tripping to Edmonton. If you're looking for a space 30 mins away from the city, I heartily recommend it here.
The only drawbacks I can think of are that if you're a light sleeper there are the aforementioned coyotes as well as train tracks off in the distance that you can hear. They never woke us up, but I sleep like a log. Your mileage may vary.

The family that lives there are very friendly and helpful. Beautiful place off grid living, lots of hiking and ATV trails. We seen some moose and lots of wildlife. We loved our time there and will be back again.
