Cedar Ridge Campground is a large site with a lot of shade just 45 minutes outside of Kansas City. Equipped with several boat ramps, it’s easy to enjoy the lake, or spend your day geocaching in the area. Once nighttime falls you’ll be amazed at the gorgeous star gazing overhead. Just be sure to bring everything you need—there’s not too much within a 20 mile radius for resupplies.
