The campsite is a haven for nature lovers with its abundant wildlife, including kangaroos and birdlife, which are a delight to encounter. Guests consistently praise the well-maintained grounds and clean facilities, making for a pleasant stay. The on-site microbrewery and bistro are often highlighted as standout features, enhancing the overall camping experience. However, some visitors note that during peak times, the area can feel crowded, and additional amenities like toilets would be beneficial.
Our stay here at habitat was everything we hoped! The rain didn’t stop us from having the best time at this amazing campsite. The kangaroos were incredible to see, amazing sunrises and super welcoming staff. Would recommend to everyone and will definitely be back!
We had a wonderful 3 days at Noosa Habitat. The receptionists were excellent, food and wine at the Bistro great. Aboultions clean and the noice curfew was enforced from 10.00pm onwards. Plus the kayaking on the lake was second to none. Highly reccommended.
Mostly well done. The non powered gums area requires another toilet block. Thebtoilets had issues too, but I would put that down to the long weekend volume. I dont think there should be a 2 hr use limit for generators in the gumms area. Those caravan peeps should shell out for a powered site. The generators used really impact on the tranquillity of the gums area. We were also not given the opportunity to be on the first boat out for the Everglades canoe trip, in which alot more birdlife is visible. Other than that, well run for such a large camp ground.
We had a great stay at this fantastic location. Great nature walks and definitely recommend the Everglades Boat safari. Spectecular.
Also the bar/restaurant with the micro brewery are worth a visit.
Powered site, loved the stay. The micro brewery and food were great. Not much in the way of convenience items and a bit of a drive to grab food etc if you forget anything.
Facilities excellent, staff wonderful. However if booking through Hipcamp, ring direct and ensure they have your van size etc. Hipcamp apparently doesn’t forward this critical information. They do have bigger sites if they are aware of requirements. Very noisy early mornings due to size of sites and everyone crammed in.
Nice location. Park was well kept and tidy. Was very busy the weekend we went. Another shower/toilet block at the other end of the park would be a great addition given the hundreds of people that can be staying there and the distance from the far end of the park. Some unpowered sites are very shaded which means bring your portable solar panels and long cable.
Super expérience !! Les emplacements sont spacieux, la cuisine et les toilettes très propres. L’endroit est génial, à côté des Everglades. Je ne peux que recommander !!
The area itself is perfect with the amenities present such as shared kitchen, showers, and on-site cafe. There is a lot of kangaroo and wildlife present, which also comes with their fecal matter but it is expected. Altough beware for travelers of 2WD small cars when coming during the wet season, as the ground could get really wet and muddy (got bogged when i got there).
Overall, we were happy with the location as we were able to do some nice day trips. We were, however, disappointed in the fact that the only place where WiFi was available closed at 8 pm on weekdays. Although junior staff were very helpful, we came away with the feeling that senior management just saw this as a business & didn’t really care about the needs of their campers. A positive point is that amenities were good. Otherwise, we felt too crowded into our camping space.
We loved our time at Noosa Habitat "The Gums" campground, with plenty of kangaroos and birdlife.
Toilets and showers were kept clean and tidy, with heaps of showers.
The frisbee golf was fun, and their bar on-site was also a hit.
Good amount of walking trails and things to do.
We will definitely be back during summer.
The place is lovely for camping, tent sites a bit too close to one another but the vibe and staff is very welcoming. Definitely worth going more than once.
Nice campground with good facilities. Perfect overnight place for one or more days in the Everglades.
Lots of kangaroos on the site as well as a lot of birds.
