Hidden Haven

1 site · Lodging120 acres · Swift Current, SK
We are located right outside the Swift Current city limits. Hidden away from the highway, you will spot our tiny house once you drive over the hill. Located in the privacy of coulees on the 120 acres, in view of the city, you can drive right up to the front door of our tiny house. This quaint haven sleeps up to 4 people with a queen-size bed and 2 twins. It is off-grid, with a wood-burning stove, and solar lights. We do provide a generator to allow for instant hot water shower, electricity and power to run a hot plate or toaster. Your rental comes with clean sheets and towel, dry firewood, coffee and tea and 4 bottles of drinking water (please pack in more if you need more). This tiny house is a passion project for my husband, myself and our 3 daughters. We hope you have as much fun exploring, playing and making memories on this land as we do.

McDermit Ranch Campsite

2 sites · RVs, Tents320 acres · Regina, SK
McDermit Ranch is a 320 acre working sheep ranch, just 40 minutes north of Regina, Saskatchewan. Open year-round, it has wide open spaces in large pastures and hay fields. There are several aspen and willow bushes to camp beside. Depending on the time of year, you might see the sheep flock graze past your campsite, followed by two big white sheep guardian dogs that live with and protect them! We allow campers to have dogs on a leash in the pastures where the sheep are not grazing. The sunrises and sunsets we get here are often stunning! We offer 20-30 minute guided tours of the ranch, where you can get up close and personal with cute Dorset lambs in the spring. If you come on shearing day (usually the first Saturday in May), you can watch the professional shearers skillfully and gently remove the fleeces off the sheep. Some extras we offer, are lamb chops, sausage and fresh eggs to cook at your campsite or take home with you. We are just 20 to 50 minutes away from several beautiful hiking trails and lakes. Plus, our local town of Southey, six miles away, has a great free spray park for the kids. There is also a nice new Co-op grocery store, gas station/C-store, Subway and two restaurants there.

Brooksdale Valley Ranch

6 sites · RVs, Tents166 acres · Mervin, SK
Brooksdale Valley Ranch was formally Valley Glen Farm founded and settled by my great grandfather William Trevor Burroughs in 1930. He was the first in the community to raise purebred Yorkshire pigs he had shipped over from England. My Grand Father was the first in the community to grow Canola formally called Rapeseed. My Father was raised here but with this quarter was deemed no water to be found my Farther had purchased another farm 7 miles east where I was raised. I always has a love for this place and had it in my mind to make this my home every since I was a little boy. You will also find historical country school on this quarter it was restored 30yrs ago. My father and his 2 sisters went to school here and I went to Sunday school here. Life has never been easy here but with the love of the land and its breath taking view makes it all worth while. So come on out and relax a spell and explore and enjoy the natural and it simplicity and all it has to offer you won't be disappointed.Learn more about this land:Our campsite offers beautiful views across the valley and has a freshwater spring running through the property. There is plenty of wildlife (birds, deer and moose).Close proximity to Turtle Lake for excellent fishing (Walleye & Northern Pike). You can BBQ your catch while enjoying the sunshine. Do It Again Ranch Adventures

6 sites · RVs, Tents160 acres · Lloydminster, SK
Do It Again Ranch Adventures is a 160 acres property on the Canadian prairies. We are surrounded by grain farming activity, although this is significant cattle country also. Our property is divided roughly in thirds - 1/3 pasture for the livestock, 1/3 trees and bush, and 1/3 hayfield. There is a waterway that runs though our property creating many ponds or sloughs. None of these are big enough for canoeing but do attract wildlife and birds. We are offering sleigh and wagon rides on the farm land. We have horses, goats and a milk cow for livestock. We encourage people to interact with the livestock if they wish. The city of Lloydminster is only 12 minutes away. It has a population of 21, 000 with all the amenities and attractions of a small city. One of its distinctions is being a city that straddles both the Saskatchewan and Alberta provincial borders.
