Learn more about this land: This is a small 8 x 20 wood cabin, there is a bunk bed, wood stove, BBQ and basic kitchen supplies. It is an off grid cabin with some solar powered outdoor lighting and flashlights. Enjoy the beautiful outdoors, swim in the pond, play cards and games, hike through our silvopasture forest and enjoy a relaxing campfire. Embrace the beautiful sunsets and start your day with a brilliant sunrise. You can also book a tour of our farm. You are welcome to set up tents for additional guests if you wish. We had a fantastic time at Jamink farm, it is just a picture perfect cozy cabin by a pond. Lots of activities to do, there are kayaks, paddleboards, canoe at your disposal. The cabin is equipped with everything you could want. We highly recommend the breakfast bundle, all the items were fresh and yummy!! Definitely adding to our favourite escapes.

Map is direct. Clear and simple instructions provided to navigate farm. Greeted upon arrival and welcomed to contact them if needed. Three main paths: left-boats, middle-windmill path (cabin), right: off grid. Animals: horses, cows, chicken coop. The grounds were organized and clean. Cabin: dressed beds, coffee grounds, stove top coffee pot, tea bags, peanut butter pretzels, bowls, plate, utensils and cooking gear, wash bucket, cloths, first aid kit, cleaning wipes, paper towel, toilet paper, salt and pepper. There’s a lock on the door(inside)! Fan and charger works-solar powered (1/2 nights). Outside: lights-to the potty. Clean garbage, camping chairs, Adirondack chairs (the turquoise ones rock), laundry lines, kids life jacket, basic fishing gear. Water in insulated jug they give you stayed cold even in sun 2 days. Potty is clean, sand for stools, towel, toilet paper, hand sanitizer, lock. Boats: canoe, kayaks, pedal boat, paddle boards, different oars. Cows walk by around cabin around 7pm. Dogs ran around cabin and paths safely. Bugs were only present in forest and at night (if window/door left open). Heard coyote-no issues. Walked around farm-didn’t see a soul (only cows). Heard their dog a couple of times barking quietly.They are far enough that your dogs won’t run into her unless you go meet her-she’s friendly. Lake is refreshing, clean, turtles, small fish. RENT IT!!!!!

Clean, and provided everything from water, a place to wash dishes, a toilet setup with toilet paper, a fire pit, loungers, a cooler for your cold stuff, (bring ice and it’s perfect!!) The setup of the doors and windows makes it so the wind moves through the cabin at night making it nice and cool for dozing. Incredibly beautiful view of the rouge river rapids and waterfalls driving up. So so affordable, the reason I booked was because I saw the note about it being a not for profit for an animal rescue - how adorable? I love turtles!
