Enjoy an elevated glamping experience! The Black Swan Bungalow is a private, cozy cottage/bunkie beside the main house on my beautiful treed property in Port Dover. Just a 15-minute walk to restaurants, shopping, theatre, and the beach—you’ll be close enough to enjoy the fun, yet far enough away to relax in peace and quiet. The bungalow features a queen-sized memory foam mattress, a seating area with a table and chairs, and its own covered deck. Outside, you’ll find a two-person hot tub overlooking the hill—a beautiful spot for stargazing! Plus a cute outdoor hot shower! (April through October) The bathroom includes a Think Tank compost toilet and a sink with cold running water (April through October). For your comfort, the space has both heating and air conditioning. On nice evenings, you can enjoy a fire in the fire pit or head down to a private deck at the bottom of the hill. Check-in is easy with a coded door lock. I live in the main house with my two cats, and while I’ll give you complete privacy, I’m always available to answer questions or share local recommendations. Extras & Amenities: Two bikes with helmets for exploring downtown or the nearby Lynn Valley Trail Ample free parking in the driveway Fridge, microwave and BBQ (no cooking facilities inside) Keurig pods, cream, and sugar provided for your morning coffee Important Notes: Bathroom consists of a Think Tank compost toilet and cold running water provided for washing only (April through October). Drinking water is provided (Brita filtered). There is a hot outdoor shower from April through October. In the off season, showering in the main house is available. By a combination of good timing and good luck, I was able to make that dream come true and in the spring of 2014 I acquired this land with the hopes of building my dream water ski lake on it. 7 years later, we have a thriving water ski club and are constantly making improvements to the site. We now have decided to add some sites for rent to share this incredible property with others outside the water ski community. Come set up camp on our peaceful property in a rural area just outside of Niagara Falls/Welland/Port Colborne, our space has one firepit, a pond, and plenty of trees. Pets are welcome, however, we have chickens and 1 dog on our property, so your pets must be leashed, and we respectfully ask you to pick up after your animals. There is one outhouse on the property, a picnic table and BBQ (BBQ at your request) for your use. The campsite is on a grassy surface. There are no hookups, and generators are not allowed. Firewood is available from neighbors close by. Another feature of this campsite is, LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION! The site is private, you will be the only campers for the nights that you book :) We are close to everything!!! 10 minutes from WELLAND 10 minutes from PORT COLBOURNE 15 minutes from NIAGARA FALLS 20 min from the PEACE BRIDGE (International border for Canada/US) 20 minutes from CRYSTAL BEACH and RIDGEWAY 20 minutes from Sherkston Shores. 25 minutes from ST. Beth was the best host anyone could ask for! The bungalow was cut clean and comfortable We had amenities for tea coffee and she was even so kind that she shared some drinks with us because the liquor store was closed. She also provided us with a microwave that was not originally included and it did come in very handy. We felt like we bonded immediately. The hot tub was a delight and heated porch area. Beth was kind enough to allow us to use her bathroom for a shower and it was not ackward at all. We had plenty of privacy. I would highly recommend staying her as it was not expensive at all.

Very laid-back host. We really enjoyed the hot tub and the privacy.. Port Dover also had a lot to offer, even though it was a little chilly. It was still really beautiful to walk around, and there were still lots of restaurants and cute little stores to investigate. The sunset at Lake Erie. was beautiful and everyone was very friendly.

Pro: - nice host - electricity as well as full fridge. - Porta potty was a flush type so the smell was minimal - watch water skiing from front of cabin and there is nice shade there in the evening - there is a full screen sitting area with lawn furniture. great for keeping bugs off. - Fairly quiet site as long as water ski was not taking place - you can drive up to the Cabin - The pond is very close to main road to go into town. About 20min away from costo and bass pro shop. Con: -Fridge doors opened towards the wall making fridge access extremely limited - Cabin is tiny. when the couch is pulled out into a bed there is maybe 4 spots you can stand. - Cabin is "roughing it" I would have brought a cleaner and wipes to give it a quick wipe down before use. - No walking trails on property - Porta potty is a little ways away so be prepared to walk if you need the bathroom. - There is no latch on the Cabin door. either you lock it from the inside or the outside. it makes it hard if one person wants to nap in the afternoon.

My husband and I stayed here for a long weekend and we absolutely loved it!!! If you want to get away somewhere where you don't see many people, this is the place to go! Although they waterside, it was quite quiet. We brought a 2 person floatie and sat in the water with that while watching the boat go by. We would 100% stay here again. Only criticism is that the porta potty is a trek away and the bbq was quite dirty so we didn't use it. We loved it there and the host was very quick to reply to my messages. I recommend this place 100%!!!

Ils ont même invité nos enfants à utiliser la tyrolienne et le trampoline!! Les hôtes son accueillants et il est facile d’obtenir une réponse rapide de leur part. La toilette rustique était en parfait état. Avec tout le nécessaire pour nos petits ou gros envies. Ça sentait bon à l’intérieur! Oui, oui!!! Ça sentait bon!!!! Le seul petit irritant, c’est qu’il n’y a pas d’accès à de l’eau. . Je recommande! 💖
