Our 14 acre property is a quiet oasis on several biking trails (G2G, Cottonwood Road, Trans Canada Trail) and a very short drive to famous Elora (7 min) and St. Jacobs (20 min), Elmire (10 min). There is access to several Grand River launch sites, many nearby hiking trails, and countless Mennonite farmers markets with fresh produce, baked goods, meats, cheeses, and preserves. This is a hidden Oasis just outside of the Waterloo and Guelph areas.
There’s lots of other exciting things to do and see in the surrounding areas – great restaurants, breweries and wineries, golf courses, rivers, fishing, agri-tourism experiences, events and more.
There is really something for everyone around here.
We have a beautiful green acreage with a picturesque pond, next to Cox Creek and privacy with open and treed space and the promise of gorgeous sunsets almost every night.
We have fire pits, picnic tables, Muskoka chairs and plenty of firewood.
There is plenty of space for tents, and/or RVs.

We strive to give you a tranquil experience in a beautiful space where you can enjoy relaxing days close to nature, have space to play games, have a paddle around the pond, or seek out the many surrounding activities.
A couple notes about the property:
You may encounter property owners (that's us!) and our kids enjoying a walk with their friendly dogs unleashed, picking berries, playing a game or doing yard work near your site and around the property. We hope you don't mind. We aim to give you a lot of privacy, so we aren't going to be around all the time, don't worry. But this is a shared space, that we want to enjoy alongside you and we really hope you enjoy it as much as we do! We'll definitely say hi if we see you but we won't overstay our welcome!

It truly is a " Hidden Oasis " . I really appreciated the quick response back from Laura
to my inquiries and too the suggestions she gave for things we could do in the area
during our stay. The setting could not have been nicer with large mature trees, a pond you could walk around and large clearing to gaze the stars at night fall. Comments already made about the large fire pit & welcoming large compositing outhouse and paddle boat (s) by the pond edge. Our boating Cat was absolutely
fascinated with the pond and racing around the large cedars. Lots of reviews nothing not one negative thing could be said!! Looking forward to booking time

Perfect spot! Pretty secluded from other campers and makes you feel like you found a personal secret pond to have a fire next to. We stayed at #2 and loved the smell of thyme that was growing naturally!

This was a great location, really beautiful spot. It's secluded and quiet and they included some firewood to start which was really nice.
The pond was smaller than expected, and we were hoping it had some fish but I think there was only 1 or two smaller fish in there. They have a paddleboat there which was nice and a small floating dock.
Grass was cut very well and property maintained well, the drive in was pleasant. Instructions were sent clearly. Bathroom was clean and it was nice that they were selling firewood for a really affordable price.

It's a nice and scereen spot with lots of space. I wish I could have stayed a few days longer to just sit by the pond and play with fire lol.
The host was really nice!
He checked in on us all and was very accommodating.
The bridge being out dosent show up on Google maps so pay close attention to the instructions to get there quicker.

Lovely private spot for camping! The hosts were nice and quick to respond to messages. The property was well kept and clean, including the outhouse. The other two sites were occupied on our first night but they were a decent distance away so it still felt fairly private. Would definitely recommend!

I loved camping on Laura's land! We happened to be the only campers there at the time but the other sites were a great distance away and you have a lot of privacy. My dog was exhausted when we left and loved having the freedom to be off leash during the day. My kids loves the pond and the paddle boat. Site #2 had tons of shade. Can't wait to come back!

We loved how peaceful and beautiful it was to stay at Laura’s. There were two other campers spending the night as well however you would never know it.
The only concern we might share with other travellers with trailers would be that the way into the property is down a narrow tree lined lane way.

This campground is truly a hidden gem and an oasis, lots of room for you to move freely and your neighbors where they are not to close. Laura's campground for a little extra has all the essentials you'd need for camping incase you forget to bring along....lighters, fire starter, little propane tank, homemade soap and firewood. For the price you pay for 6 pieces of firewood may seem not alot you'd be wrong the firewood are big so bring an axe along to cut it down to smaller pieces. I'll definitely be coming back again.
