There is plenty of opportunity for hiking through the property trails and multiple star gazing areas. There are numerous grocery stores and shops within 20 minutes of the site! Silent Lake Provincial Park is within 30 minutes drive and Kawartha Highlands Provincial Park is within an hour.Choose from two on-site travel trailers. Each sleeps 4. There is a kitchen with all the necessary supplies and a BBQ for grilling. Each trailer has its own bathroom and shower. Fires are permitted (within local regulations) and pets on leash are welcome. Whether it’s a sense of adventure searching for wild animals on a winter hike, a slow morning with a book, a late night with the stars, or stories over a campfire - you’re sure to find it here. Situated on 18 acres, available to our guests we have our main cabin, a dining gazebo, and a riverside gazebo. The area is well treed in for privacy and a true feeling of an escape. Guests can access hours of private hiking trails along the river and through the forest. An open area next to the cabin is available for lounging and games as well as viewing of the night sky with no light pollution. Located an approximate 200ft from the York River, our 700 sqft cabin features vaulted ceilings with ample amounts of sunlight for a cozy yet airy feel. It is fully winterized with baseboard heaters and a wood stove.

There are lots of walking trails, ATV trails, two spring-fed lakes with easy boat launches for swimming, fishing, or kayaking within a 2 or 3 mins drive. There is plenty of opportunity for hiking through the property trails and multiple star gazing areas. There are numerous grocery stores and shops within 20 minutes of the site! Silent Lake Provincial Park is within 30 minutes drive and Kawartha Highlands Provincial Park is within an hour.Choose from two on-site travel trailers. Each sleeps 4. There is a kitchen with all the necessary supplies and a BBQ for grilling. Each trailer has its own bathroom and shower. Fires are permitted (within local regulations) and pets on leash are welcome. This is the perfect spot to get back to nature but still have all the comforts of home!
