HISTORIC MONUMENTS The "Hole in the Wall" bridge was built in 1905 and is also known as the Canal Lake Concrete Arch Bridge. It was designed by the federal Department of Railways and Canals. Elana and family were wonderful hosts! I booked a few days just to “get away” and reset, and this was a perfect spot to do so. The animals (mini donkeys, oh my goodness!, the goat who welcomed me alongside Elana, the ducks that swam around the pond…) and the “Enchanted Forest” were highlights. I would have stayed longer (much longer!) if I could, and hope to be back next year… maybe to see baby donkeys or Highland cows? :) Thanks so much for a lovely weekend.

We had an amazing time, reflecting and relaxing. We stayed by the water and it was really beautiful listening to the water. The farm tour was awesome, I even got the help feed the pigs 🐷 which was really a highlight for me as they are one of my favourite animals. The donkey is the cute and so good looking and very well mannered. Frenchie and dumpling and the other goats are free range and super friendly! So many animals all well behaved! The cows were beautiful! Everything was beautiful and brings you back to earth! I would recommend this place anyone who loves animals and nature! If you don't like nature this place isn't for you, as you can meditate and reflect on your life to become one with nature. The family is super knowledgeable and very welcoming. I feel like they welcomed my partner and our dog in as apart of there family for the weekend! Just remember to bring a camping toilet and a table. This place deserves a 10 star rating out of 5!!!!
