This is a little stop in the middle of the province, ideal for car, van, trailer, and RV camping up to 30 feet. There is no toilet onsite so self-contained RVs are recommended. This is a pull-in site that will require some leveling. Pets are permitted. Campfire is permitted but follow NS Fire restrictions website: https://novascotia.ca/burnsafe/. 

The property is near to New Ross Museum. In the area, you can pick up apples, visit a winery, fish for trout, or hike to a waterfall.

Welcome to Charming Mahone Bay, Nova Scotia! 

We are offering a dry camp experience with the opportunity to rent a room and bath in our home .  The room is on the second floor of our cottage - has a private entrance . The room is a unique attic styled room  with a double sized bed and a small bathroom with a shower , sink and toilet . 

The room has a private entrance and beautiful deck with an ocean view! 
Room is $100 a night 
We also have a bunk house available with a single bed and IKEA kitchen - there isnt a bathroom but you will access the bathroom in the upstairs room . 
Bunkhouse -$50 a night 

Once you arrive , feel free to take a 5 minute walk down to the shore with spectacular views of Mahone Bay and ocean front homes. You can walk to the trailhead for hiking, biking and off-road adventures. We are located 10 minutes to Mahone Bay Village, 15 minutes to Chester and 20 minutes to Lunenburg and Bridgewater.We offer a quiet rural setting where you will not be crowded by other vacationers.

Levy Meadow Retreat

Great spot to relax in the wilderness with the lake near by. Windsor is only 15 mins away if you need to run into town. There is a store 5 mins from the site

RVs welcome up to 35 feet. There is a portable toilet on-site. Campfires are permitted within local regulation. There is a local public beach and the boat launch is a 5 min walk away. Spend some time with family and enjoy a campfire and a bbq. The site has a play area for volleyball or soccer or any other fun you can think of!In the area, you can enjoy biking, swimming, boating, hiking, and many other activities! The town of Windsor is about 25 minutes away and has restaurants, grocery stores, and anything you will need for your camping adventure!We look forward to hosting you!

Yurt Nestled in Nature on Community

Nestled in the trees on a large deck with the sounds of birds and squirrels all around, this unique structure spans 15 ft across with 14 triangular sides. It holds a double bed, dinning table, rocking chair, 3 burner stove, sink with water, full kitchenette and all the cooking utensils you need. The wood stove keeps the space very warm and cozy and we offer professional massage and reiki. You can walk, ski or bike for hours along a river. Or visit towering gypsum cliffs that host huge bat caves..

Our yurt is tucked away in the trees of our 20 acre wood lot. We provide lots of wood and fire starter for the wood stove but guests should have experience with wood stoves (or be really keen to learn). The stove is big enough to easily heat the whole yurt to cozy comfort but guests should expect to have to keep the stove going in order to keep the space warm and this may mean stoking it once in the night. We provide lots of extra blankets and two pairs of extra slippers for those who forget to bring their own. The solar panel creates enough power to run the lights, charge a cell phone and sometimes a computer but not much more.

The space is beautiful, unique and quite dreamy but it is rustic. There is a composting toilet next to the yurt (with hand sanitizer but no sink) and outdoor showers (with hot water) near our farm house. There is a three burner propane cook stove, cooking and dining wares and a small sink for dishes. There are all the utensils that you may need to cook for yourself but there is limited counter space so cooking elaborate meals is possible but could be cumbersome. There is a cooler and we can stock it with ice packs upon request. We supply coffee and a french press,. 

We also offer massage and reiki to guests for $90 (60 min). Morghain Lee is a massage therapist and Reiki Master and enjoys blending these two body therapies for a holistic healing experience.

There is an outdoor fire pit and star gazing chairs. We ask that you only use natural soaps in the shower, the sink, pond or river. We have some Dr Bronners if you like:)

Cell reception on the land depends on the provider but most people have weak service (one or two bars). Enough to maintain a phone connection (if you are not walking around too much) but not enough to download videos. Some people have more or less.

We do allow pets but we ask for an extra $15 contribution to compensate for the extra cleaning. We also ask that dogs not be on the bed and that they don't chase our chickens or kittens.

There are outdoor showers available in spring, summer and fall when the pipes won't freeze. For those wanting to stay for longer periods in the winter we can discuss usage of the shower in our house.
