Stayed at Red Bell Farm and it was pure magic. The private peaceful campsite felt like our own slice of serenity, just a short drive from everyday amenities, with wildlife spotting around every corner and trails begging to be explored straight from the back. An unforgettable escape, all thanks to Gary for opening up such incredible land. Pure joy fireside by the pond, plus a simply equipped shared kitchen that made everything easy. Grateful beyond words, a Hipcamp gem for sure!

This was by far the BEST camping site ever! Everything was spotless and very easy to find. The facilities were super clean, especially the toilet, which was incredibly well maintained. The water jugs were very practical, and the site itself was quiet, private, and easy to access.
The host was extremely kind and respectful, and he gave us great recommendations for places to visit that turned out to be amazing. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend!

Nice farm and location ideal for stop over on our bike trip. The pit toilet was not the best as it was very smelly. The kitchen was awesome to have and a wonderful area to sit. Gary was very helpful, welcoming and responsive to our pre-arrival messages. We were the only campers there but the 3 sites are all very close to each other. I we enjoyed our stay.

That place is lovely! Marc take care a lot that everything is clean, that you find the place and everything you need there.
We had a warm welcome even when he was not home and there are adorable cats, joining us. Even the tree house is such a nice and funny place :)

Mark's place was perfect. A flat gravel spot with a picnic table and very clean outhouse. It also comes with a treehouse and cats that visit. Mark was very kind and easy to work with. Would definitely stay here again.

Great spot close to town. Gary is super friendly and helpful and his sites are comfortable. Last night there were nine other campers and it didn't feel too close together. Amazing Farmers market and access to lots of hikes, water access and salt springs.
The only con is the outhouse could use some significant upgrades and biodegradable support. It's a challenge to hold your nose long enough to go.

Very nice little camping spot! We had the whole ground to ourselves which was awesome. The fridge and sink were a nice bonus and the outhouse was clean. The location is a very nice in-between Duncan and Lake Cowichan so it was easy to get to both places! The one downside is that the location is a double-edged sword: it’s close to the road that goes to Lake Cowichan, so you can hear cars sometimes. We spent 90% of our time away so it didn’t bother us much! Would recommend and will be coming back!

Gary and Cindy are nice and very informative. The land is nice and the kitchen is clean and well designed. The bike path to Cowichan lake is right behind the camp. We had a good time.

This was a fantastic spot to spend a couple nights! There were many amenities such as a treehouse, fire pit, a clean outhouse and 3 friendly kitties to hangout with! Mark is extremely friendly and helpful, offering tips on places to check out in town. Mark is also very easy to communicate with. This is definitely a spot I recommend and would like to visit again! Thank you Mark for your hospitality!
