My kids and I really enjoyed staying at Kosciuszko Base Camp. We went during the July school holidays. The cabin is very comfortable, and has a nice view of the gardens across the road. All bedding and kitchen utensils are provided. The TV and aircon were easy to use. Electric blankets and heaters were a nice touch.
The pub is a short walk door to door and does good meals. The Western Rose cafe (across the rd from the pub) was a great coffee and breakfast destination in the morning before driving up to Thredbo to play in the snow.
