The guided tour at Mungo was a highlight but so was the self drive loop. Be sure to stop at each stop.

Main road in park closed so only need one day unless you do all the walks and rides

Great place to explore

What a wonderful place gull of history we were unable to do the 70km self drive loop as it was closed to roads being fixed but will be back to do it again one day.

Unfortunately the majority of the track around the park was closed which was quite frustrating Main info centre had displays which were broken Having to pay the park entry fee in cash is archaic….i suspect most visitors don’t pay

Great to check out. One day is enough to check things out for most people.

Mungo np

Amazing national park, well worth the visit. Good visitor center

Mungo is quite amazing. One thing you MUST book in advance for the sunset tour with Mungo Lodge as this is the most spectacular time to see the wall. It is a little disappointing that the NP access is from 2 spots and quite limited - we assumed wrongly that we would be able to wander through the site but this is only available with a tour guide

Pretty awesome. Some of the park is only accessible by booking a tour. Also, most of the self drive road is closed at the moment due to road damage, but the main attractions are open.

I am pleased I have been, however not nearly as endearing as Flinders Ranges.
