The Rockcliffe vineyard was originally an apple orchard. In 1990, the first vines were planted, and in 2007 we built a "State of the Art winery", which is located on the property. Rockcliffe is now the biggest winery in the region. We sell wines all over the world and in Australia. We focus on producing small batches of high-quality wines, all of which can be tasted at the Rockcliffe Cellar Door. We welcome self-contained travelers to come and stay for 1, 2 or 3 nights maximum. On booking your site, you will be amongst the vines on one of our levelled bays which are allocated on a first come basis. It is important you have your own toilet, as we do not offer facilities here outside of our cellar door hours. Overflow camping is also available in the paddock across from the winery, suitable over summer when it is dry and we are running our summer music events over the weekend. Please get in touch to enquire about this. The place is very quiet, being in a rural setting, but only 4km from Denmark town. If you are a cyclist, this is an ideal place to stay. We have a mountain biking track that goes around the vines, paddocks, and through the forests, all of which are part of the beautiful Rockcliffe property. The camping areas are a very short walk to the cellar door where you can taste all of our delicious wines or treat your children to Gelato and Fudge. We also offer Cheese Platters, Pizza's and Fries. The kitchen is open from 12-4pm for lunch Sunday through till Thursday and from 1-7pm for lunch and dinner Friday and Saturdays.As the sites are not numbered when you arrive you can pick whatever site is available. Great views over the paddocks, sites are not too close together. We had a yummy pizza and bottle of wine at the cellar door. I love that you’re dog friendly, staff at the winery very friendly and nice places to bush walk close by.

Fantastic spot to stay. Very peaceful location but still close to town. Great wines and nice beer selection. Highly recommend staying here

Stayed for 2 nights, place was picturesque and people were lovely. sites are on a hill and they are cut into the side. we have a 10 meter caravan so it was a little tight. other than that lovely.

While the surroundings are beautiful and the owner of the winery is very friendly, the actual campsite is just like a parking lot. Toilets are accessible via the winery showroom, quite a trip away. The showroom door was generously left open for us. For what is on offer, the price is far too high. We have stayed on similar (town) sites in the area for free.

Arrived and set up at a site of our choice. Went to check in with Steve and had a great, friendly chat! Went for a wine tasting, pizza dinner and gelato the next night and it was lovely. The wine was sensational and I enjoyed the relaxed vibe. The single site wines were my favourite 🍷 Thanks for having us, Steve and all the best!

Peaceful spot with 5 camping bays. Dogs are allowed on leash. You can select your camping spot when you arrive and the spot overlooks the vineyard. Very short drive to Denmark town so very convenient. We enjoyed our stay for two nights and ended up having lunch at the vineyard in one of our days. Pizzas are available 7 days a week from 11 am to 5 pm. Friday and Saturday available until 7pm

A lovely quiet spot next to the vineyard with only 5 sites - lovely views across the gully with trees and farmland. We also had a pizza dinner and wine at the winery. Very good to be able to have a few (good) drinks and walk back to the van. Steve was very hospitable, letting my boys light the fire pit.

Lovely, off grid peace and quiet. Sites large for a big rig and plenty of space in between sites. Great pizzas and good wine on your doorstep, couldn’t ask for more!

Was a great spot to camp. Close to many wineries and Rockcliffe we enjoyed beautiful wine and beer tastings in the afternoon and didn’t have to drive. Walked back to our van and enjoyed a bottle of Rose with our cheese board. Would definitely stay again.

What an incredible experience at this beautiful vineyard campsite! The views of the vineyards are absolutely stunning, and it's just a short, easy walk to the restaurant and cellar door where you'll find delicious food and top-notch wines. The camp spots were easy to reverse into, making setup a breeze. What truly made our stay unforgettable, though, was the host. Not only did he offer great conversation, but he also went above and beyond when our hired van broke down. He welcomed us in out of the rain, treated us to exceptional pizza and wine, and even drove us into town when there were no taxis available. If you're looking to camp around Denmark, I couldn't recommend this place more. A true gem! Thanks so much again Steve, we will see you in France some day ;)

Tucked among the vines with lush grass underfoot and a few nosey sheep for company across a quiet road - this spot was a gem. We usually stick to the coast, but this was a cracking inland detour, close to a lovely little town and a beach where the dogs ran riot (in the best way). Before crashing in the van, we sampled some top-notch wine made on site, with a nice cheese platter and a good yarn with the lovely woman pouring the drinks - who patiently answered all my nosy questions about the area. Come stay - you won’t regret it.

Beautiful picture perfect site, but a little hard to stay with children, it would be perfect for adults or older children but not practical for younger families. the sites are uneven ground and its pretty much on the side of a hill. i would recommend to anyone with children over 8

I don’t recommend anyone with a RV to even try parking in there. We were told to drive up the driveway and park. No instructions. Parking was ok but then trying to get out was a huge issue. There is no visible turning circle on the side of a sloping paddock. We got bogged trying to get out. We had some under carriage damage. We were stuck. But much appreciation To the staff who came to our aid and managed to tow us out with a tractor. No empathy shown by the owner. We didn’t stay and we were not refunded our payment. We had to find an after hours park and Big 4 Denmark ocean Beach helped us out. And staff there were aware about the issues we had. Just hope this review saves someone from the dilemma and stress we had to endure.

What an amazing place to stay Rockliffe is! Steve is an awesome host and a great guy to have a chat with. The wines and food here are amazing! We loved spending time wandering around the vineyard and enjoying the amazing wines and food! We will be back!

We had an incredible stay at this beautiful winery! The setting was peaceful and picturesque—perfect for a relaxing getaway. What really made the experience stand out was Steve's hospitality. He was warm, welcoming, and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The wine was absolutely excellent—each bottle we tried was full of character and clearly crafted with care. Highly recommend this stay. Thanks again, Steve.

Camping at Rockcliffe Vineyard was a really pleasant experience. The van sites are quiet and nicely tucked in just below the vines, making for a peaceful and scenic spot to stay. The wines were very good, with a nice variety to try, and the cellar door was a relaxed place to spend some time. The host was friendly and welcoming, making the visit feel easy and enjoyable.

I heartily recommend Rockcliffe estate just outside Denmark as a great place to stay with an extensive selection of wines. Don’t miss out on the pizzas for dinner - they are outstanding! Steve is a knowledgeable and entertaining host. This place is a real find.

We stayed for a night at the vineyard and loved it. Don't follow the hipcamp directions - make sure you go straight to the main house, then you just follow to the left up amongst the vineyards. Beautiful property. Must be self-contained. We camped with 5 children.
