Overall ok, sites closer than led to believe by the write up. No grass, just sand/dirt. Very untidy, lots of branches, logs, leaves etc understand it’s a bush block but the pile of rubbish in ready for burning by the looks of it didn’t really make the aesthetic very pleasing.
Expensive rate for what it is and zero contact or provision of anything apart from access to the land. Booked fit 3 nights but left after 2.

We did not end up staying at this site & left, there were too many people and there was no privacy. Unfortunately we did not feel that the site reflected the photos & wont be back.

Really great location. Short drive to the estuary where we went paddle boarding and a 2 min walk to the local brewery. Private location. Site 1 perfect for larger groups.

A small and basic site, but really charming with lovely shady trees. Our second night felt much more private once other guests had left, though it can be quite open when busy. There are some beautiful walks nearby, and the evenings were wonderfully quiet with stunning starry skies. It was a bit dusty with a few caterpillars around, but we appreciated that there were no nasty spiders and the site was well-cleared to help prevent snakes. A peaceful and pleasant stay overall 🏕️

Nice peaceful location to camp under the trees. All the campsites are in sight of each other but enough distance that everyone had their own space. The brewery next door was only open between 10am - 3pm so it was quiet at night and was a lovely spot for a beer and some lunch. Great communication from Jessie, with very clear directions, and each site is clearly marked. Would recommend.

A good location close to metro for an easy to reach weekend getaway.
4x4 best as the sites are soft sand.
Close to Thornie Devil Brewery, thrombolites and one of the Giants sculptures.
The camp would benefit from clearer directions for accessing sites and some trimming of lower hanging tree branches around sites to prevent vehicle scratching when driving through.
Other than that a great little spot.

Salt & Ember, was a wonderful stay for us.
We got to watch a possum climb up a tree two foot in front of us. Also star gazing is a must.
Located next to the Thorny Devil brewery (check opening hours).
Just a short walk further down the road are the Thrombolites. Where we enjoyed sitting on the jetty for a front row view of the sunsetting over the water.
A 20 minute walk on the trail hidden in the bushes you’ll come face to face with one of the famous wooden giants.
Was just what we needed for a quick one night stay.

The property is in a great location. It is right next door to The Thorny Devil brewery where we had a nice lunch and drink. Walking distance to the thrombolites. Comfortable and large sites to camp on.

Access, Price and Location is great, so many beautiful trees and birdlife and a few bunnys 🐰. Just a little sandy.
Right next door to Thorny Devil Brewery, Thrombolites and Thomas Dambos Giant Jyttes Hytte.
We're looking forward to coming back in winter.

Nice big flat site and lots of shade.
Lots of friendly wildlife visiting.
Right next to brewery and the thrombolites. Also within short drive of the peel estuary and also the white hills 4WD beach.

For us we rely on solar there are a lot of trees and we have a camper trailer the sand is very dirty . If you want to see this part of the world it is very central to all the sites. Don’t recommend the brewery’s choices on music but their bear not bad.
We had a good time and the site was secure.recommend for caravans not camping.
