Mellenbye Station is a historic working cattle station in WA’s Mid West, with roots dating back to the late 1800s. It’s rich in outback history and surrounded by beautiful breakaway country, wide open spaces, and seasonal wildflowers. We offer a range of accommodation including unpowered camping for self-contained travellers, luxury cabins, and a restored historic shearing shed. Camp kitchen. Fires. As a fully off-grid property, we run on generators and provide clean toilet and shower facilities. Guests are welcome to explore the station, enjoy the lake, and experience the peace and beauty of true outback WA.

Self-contained camping with your own toilets and showers gives you the opportunity to park up wherever you like we have multiple spots available. We are allowed up to 2 adults and three children per sight Please note with approval from owners you may be able to camp at the lake or breakaway depending on the condition

Station Camping offers spacious, off-grid sites surrounded by beautiful natural bushland, open skies, and seasonal wildflowers. Guests have access to explore the property, including scenic breakaway country, lakes, and unique rock formations. There are communal toilets and hot showers available on-site, along with access to a shared camp kitchen for basic cooking and meal preparation, all located a short walk from the camping area. Please note we run off generators, so facilities are limited to certain hours. Sites are unpowered, so guests will need to be self-contained where possible. Enjoy a peaceful, back-to-basics stay with plenty of room to relax, explore, and take in the surroundings.
