Such a great private, peaceful place to stay, was just what we needed. Did not get to use the fire-pit, but was nice to have the option if we wanted. Spotted some wildlife. Wellington dam, gnomesville and a bunch of other attractions only 30-40 mins away. Donnybrook only 5 minutes for groceries or whatever you need.

We loved that it is secluded and private.
It's got beautiful surroundings with nice walks and parks nearby.
Diego, the host was very accommodating. Being able to light the fire at night was the topper. Would definitely stay here again if we were passing through.

We all enjoyed staying at this campsite, decent size and plenty of space for 2 caravans or multiple tents.
Handy having the firepit for the colder nights. Was easy access in and out. Would recommend staying here.

Kangaroo Kampground
Super forest campsite and Diego was a very welcoming host. Stay was all too short so hope to be back soon to explore the area a bit more.

It was lovely to have the area to ourselves, and the fire pit with firewood was most welcome.
The site was clean and tidy. The layer of leaf litter did very well at creating a ‘mat’ over the wet clay soil to keep feet and camping gear away from any mud.

Great fire pit and lots of space for multiple tents and cars. Beautiful looking at the kangaroos at dusk in the open field next to the camp site. No shelter when it rains so recommend to bring own gazebo if it is wet.

We really enjoyed our stay - great site, nice and peaceful. Diego provided wood for the fire which kept us warm on a freezing cold night. Look forward to coming back and staying a little longer next time!

My wife camped here for two nights. It’s a beautiful location nestled amongst the trees in the southwest. Diego is a thoughtful host who works hard to ensure a relaxing experience.

Absolutely loved this site. It was so peaceful, with the beautiful tree canopy and incredible field in front. Our dogs absolutely loved how secluded it was (unlike other sites with other dogs) and it made the trip so much more chill for us too, not always worrying about other dogs walking past the site. The area is great, plenty of room for multiple cars/tents. Plus the firewood and fire pit were a game changer on the cold nights! Honestly 10/10 and already planning our next visit back.

This was by far our best and most enjoyable Hipcamp we have stayed at and we have stayed in quite a few.
Diego the host was extremely helpful and very welcoming. The site is immaculate and very well kept, with a beautiful field for the kids to run around and play in, there are zero safety concerns here for small children and we had full range to explore. Fire wood is provided which is a huge bonus also. Honestly the best! Thank you Diego and family for having us, we hope to return again in the near future.

Great camp with fire ring and good wood. Diego checked in with us to make sure we're ok and offered help if required. Site is very private and fairly shaded with morning sun coming in from the entrance at the paddock. Highly recommend.

Fabulous little site all to ourselves. It was very quiet and relaxing, yet only minutes to Boyanup or Donnybrook. The firepit with supplied firewood was the icing on the cake. Will definitely stay here again!!!

Beautiful little clearing with tree cover next to the open field which gave the perfect combination of a quiet, private bush camp and open space for the dogs to run around. The solar garden and fairly lights around the site along with the benches and logs around the fire pit made the site feel really cozy and we’ve already booked our next visit with a few friends in tow. Diego came down to greet us, gave us some great inside information on local coffee shops and has been great to deal with from us asking a few questions before booking, to speaking to him about our next visit.

Diego have taken the time to greet us even it was late checked in. Was great set up. The bonfire with plenty of chopped firewood ready for us to use. And the whole site to ourselves

The Bush Chapel
The Bush Chapel is a lovely private camp spot amongst the trees. While there isn't too much to see or do on the property, it is super close to Donnybrook and Boyanup and many other places making it a convenient place to set up. The site itself is spacious with lots of protection from the trees. There is an open grassed paddock which was great to play ball games on. There is the most gorgeous fire pit with logs and benches, sadly the fire restrictions were extended so couldn't test it out but something we would come back for. Diego is an excellent host with timely, clear instructions and was very pleasant welcoming us. Definitely worth a visit!

Great spot, secluded and well set up. Close to town if you need anything. Excellent well maintained clearing in the bush - plenty of room for your van. Host is friendly and directions were clear.

Very private, peaceful bushland setting with only one site. Fire pit area was great with the addition of some fairy lights.. The kangaroos come in & feed just on sunset & the host was very welcoming on arrival.
