Welcome to this camp. It's simple, but a great place to base yourself for local adventures. We are a small family-run farm producing beef cattle. We have lived here for 5 years and are working on building our beef cattle herd. We look forward to continuing to improve our farm over the coming years. Set on 74 peaceful acres of pasture, you can camp out between the paperbark trees or in the open paddock. It is only 3.4km to the nearest beach (Perkins Beach) for walking, swimming and fishing and just 2.3km to the Torbay Inlet River with great canoeing and fishing! Our property is located under 3km off the Lower Denmark Road, roughly midway between Albany (approximately 20 minutes) and picturesque Denmark (approx. 25 minutes), so it is ideal for a quick stopover or to set up camp for a few nights and a great place to base yourself for local adventures such as exploring dozens of nearby beautiful beaches - Cosy Corner, Mutton Bird, Shelley Beach and West Cape Howe. It is approximately a 7 minute drive to Elleker General Store and Tavern which offers basic groceries, fuel, local wine, seasonal fresh produce, art, pizza nights, delicious cakes, coffee, a tasty menu and takeaway food. The Cape Café at Cosy Corner is approximately 8 minutes away. There is 4wd access very close by to the famous Muttonbird Beach which is popular for swimming, surfing and fishing. Our property is conveniently close to the Mundabiddi and Bibbulmun tracks for biking and walking. There is a public toilet just over 2km away at the Torbay Inlet River. There is a toilet and outside cold shower as well as free BBQ’s at Cosy Corner Beach 8 minutes away. Close by to this area, at at the Cosy Corner East campsite, is a toilet cassette dump point, a toilet and rubbish bins. Toilet cassette dump points are also located in Albany and Denmark.
