Please read the entire description as you will be quizzed on it, on arrival! ;) Campers must be self-contained, with their own toilet. We only accept one booking at a time, so you're guaranteed privacy and plenty of space, as you have the entire property to yourselves. 20% discount for weeknights, that is Sunday night through to Thursday night. Come alone or bring your group to camp on our 95 acres of peace and quiet, on our off-grid property in Forest Hill. Note: There is no actual beach at Eddies Beach. Campers must be self-contained, with their own camp toilet, and leave no trace. Groups of up to 6 families (people who know each other) can be accommodated at any one time. As you are the only ones camping, you're welcome to make a bit of noise (music, generators etc). The rate is $38 for up to two adults, per night, $19 per extra adult per night, and any accompanying children (under 18) are free. Note: Please still add children to the booking, you will not be charged, but it's important we know numbers. Whilst the Hipcamp website considers children as anyone under 13 years of age, we consider them as anyone under 18, and are happy for you to create the booking accordingly. Campfires are permitted in the designated area only, provided conditions are suitable and there are no local fire bans (can change daily). We will advise campers on arrival and any changes throughout your stay. Firewood can be provided. Whilst any time is good for camping, we recommend trying to time your trip with the New Moon and Full Moon - the skies here are brilliant at night! Marvel at the Milky Way from your hammock, or see the countryside lit up at night by the full moon. Well-behaved, trained, socialised and fully vaccinated pets are welcome too. Telstra and Optus work in most areas. We have free WIFI at the designated campsite area. We are located 19km from Mt Barker, surrounded by local wineries, including West Cape Howe, Poachers Ridge, Arcadia and Gilberts. The property makes a great base camp for day trips to Denmark, Albany, Mt Barker, Stirling Ranges and the Porongurup Ranges. IMPORTANT: NO FIREARMS. NO SWIMMING IN DAMS. Be mindful, this is a working property. No entry to sheds without prior approval from management. The dams and streams are unfenced, care should be exercised around these areas especially with small children. For those campers who need extra sleeping arrangements for friends or family who wish to join your camp and don't have the ability to camp, we may be able to offer a solution. We had such a wonderful stay at Eddies Beach. Roger and Val were incredibly welcoming and friendly hosts, which made us feel right at home. We were lucky enough to have the place all to ourselves – such a treat! The fire pit was amazing, perfect for relaxing, and the surroundings were just beautiful and so peaceful. A truly special spot – we’ll definitely be back!

We throughly enjoyed our stay at Eddie’s Beach! The campsite had amazing views with a warming fire upon our arrival. Kids enjoyed roaming the fields and looking at the animals. Camp hosts were very friendly and provided us with all safety and local area info.

Val and Roger thankyou for hosting us this weekend! Ripper 2 night stay in a lovely camp. Very well thought out camp from.the fire pit to the weather displayed on the board! So nice to have this peaceful camp all to yourselves and then to enjoy a coffee and a chat with you guys to top it all off. Eddie's Beach is bliss!

What a beautiful spot! Gorgeous views, an extremely welcoming host & every induction point you need. You can be as private as you wish or interact every day with Roger & Val. They are amazing, just like their farm.

We loved Eddies Beach, the peace and tranquility was exactly what we needed. Having the place to ourselves was incredible. We arrived to find the fire pit already lit and welcoming us. Roger and Val are wonderful hosts allowing you to dictate the level of interaction you want. We enjoyed a coffee and a chat with them. Our dogs enjoyed running through the paddocks and having a good sniffari. Would recommend to anyone who enjoys simply getting away off grid end relaxing.

Great well kept campsite. Roger and Val met us and showed us to the campsite which is very private and best part was the fire was going when we arrived as it was pretty wet and cold. Great service ! Our 2 dogs loved being able to roam around and get muddy. Will definitely come again

The property itself is simply stunning, with breathtaking views and friendly Suffolk?? sheep wandering the paddock. It’s a peaceful, picturesque escape just 20 minutes from the Mt Barker Bakery. Roger was an AMAZING host, going above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed—WiFi, fire safety equipment, local info, and even books to enjoy. He had arranged a permit so we could have a controlled campfire during restrictions and gave us a courtesy call to warn about incoming weather (Thanks Mate!!). Caters for large groups. A truly unforgettable stay, we can’t recommend it highly enough.

We wanted a quiet time away and that's exactly what is on offer at Eddies Beach. Hosts Roger and Val are a gorgeous couple and so well organised. We loved the safety and site induction that Roger lead us through upon arrival ... the site is very neat and well kept, fire pit is amazing and we cooked steaks on its hotplate one night - wood was supplied. Wifi works really well via Starlink and we streamed Netflix seamlessly. Mt Barker is only about 15kms away ... and do visit the Country Bakery in town for an amazing experience. We would be more than happy to stay there again!

Just wrapped up an amazing stay at Eddies Beach Farm and I can't recommend it enough! Roger and Val are hands down the best hosts I've ever encountered in my camping adventures. They went above and beyond to make sure my stay was perfect (I really mean it). The property is stunning and the best part? You get it all to yourself as they only take one booking at a time. Location-wise, it's brilliant - just a short drive to Albany and Denmark, while the Stirling Range National Park is not far either. Perfect base for exploring the region's attractions or just unwinding in nature. This place is an absolute steal. Do yourself a favour and book this spot - you won't regret it! Tip: Stay up for the stargazing - the night sky here is incredible!

Fabulous week at Eddie’s Beach Farm

A fabulous week at Roger and Val’s place. Roger and Val are warm, welcoming, generous hosts. We were drawn to the site as they allow multiple families to camp together in privacy. We were also keen to check out Roger and Val’s fully off-grid property. They generously showed us around, welcomed us into their home and kept us entertained with stories of their life. Plus fabulous coffee! The site itself is large, level, pristine thanks to their leave no trace policy, and has stunning views. We were given the freedom to explore the vast property, where we enjoyed walks around the perimeter and the kids had a ball riding their bikes. We were lucky enough to stay at new moon, where we had incredible views of the Milky Way on several clear nights. We are keen to come back in the cooler months to take advantage of the large fire pit. We have stayed at many Hipcamps, but this one will be very hard to beat. Thank you so much Roger and Val. We hope to come again.

What a great stay at Roger & Val’s property! On arrival we were greeted & shown lots of local information, first aid kits for pets & people & Wifi details. Very easy access from the road to the camping area with some gorgeous trees, providing much appreciated shade from the heat in the morning & late afternoon. Only about 10-15 minutes drive to Mount Barker, West Cape Howe Winery & Galafrey Winery….Galafrey’s wines are incredible & an absolute must for anyone who loves highly rated wines at a national level! Roger & Val were super friendly and welcoming throughout the whole of our stay inviting us to catch up with them most days. Thanks so much Roger & Val for a great stay!

A very peaceful and pleasant site. Very dry, but that is what it is this time of the year on a farm. Some large trees to take shade from. A kangaroo family came to visit and the birds were nice to hear.

What an awesome experience. From the moment we arrived we felt at home and special. Roger and Val go out of their way to make the stay special with many fine points including inviting us to new year eve celebrations. The environment is magical with the most stunning sunsets and the star gazing second to none. Our boys felt at home playing cricket in the open area. Our furry friends were at home in the safe open enclosure with cameras we could look at and check in with them while at the national park. We would recommend staying here 100% and we would have loved to stay longer.

The camp hosts Roger and Val met us on arrival and showed us in detail what was available to us, including emergency information for humans and pets in case needed, the following day we were invited to their home for the best coffee ever and enjoying over 2 hours sat talking in their undercover outdoor area, we have never felt so welcome. This has to be one of the best Hipcamp experiences for us so far, and we’ve had some pretty good ones. Thank you so much to Roger and Val for the amazing hospitality and for sharing their stories and life experiences, while our little dog Archie chilled out with their dog Eddie. The camp itself is a huge area, set on 95 acres, we had no issues getting our Ranger and 18 foot caravan in, even the biggest set up would fit in here easily. They only take one booking at a time, which is awesome if you need a little peace and quiet, which is what we were after, but they can take a group of up to 23 people. Dogs can roam free and there are even 2 pet enclosures with security cameras where you can leave your dogs for the day if you wish to go off and explore. Could not recommend this place enough.

We stayed here for a few days. Roger and Val were lovely hosts. Great location to explore the region. Dog friendly and secure area to keep them if you head to the national parks. Ps. Roger makes a lovely coffee.

Saying it was a pleasure to stay here is an understatement. We arrived at eddies beach after an extremely stressful few days with not a lot of hope of things looking up. Well… from the moment we stepped out of the car we were greeted by smiling faces and the most kind and generous people we have ever come across. After setting up and settling in, we were invited up for a coffee and a chat. They treated us like friends we had known forever and created a very relaxing and welcoming environment for us and our 3 little boys. Best coffee we have had for a long time topped with the kindness and generosity of these beautiful hosts is an experience you cannot top. We arrived at eddies beach deflated and left feeling a lot lighter and faith that good people still exist was restored well and truly! Everything happens for a reason and this is exactly what we needed. We cannot thank you both enough. Definitely won’t be the last you see of us.

We recently went and stayed at Eddies Beach Farm (not a beach ;) ) hosted by Roger and Val. A really lovely and peaceful spot, and a nice clear and flat campground with a great fire pit for use when conditions are suitable. The location was also good and not the far from Albany and Denmark which could be done as day trips. Roger and Val were very helpful, messaging before we arrived to provide helpful tips and advice. we really enjoyed the offer of a coffee and the great conversation once we had setup and probably spent more time having a chat with roger and Val then we should have!!! Overall, a great spot to go to and some very friendly people to meet, would definitely recommend staying there if you are in the region :)

Had a wonderful stay at Eddie's Beach. We spent 4 nights here and had great time. Roger and Val were perfect hosts. Thanks for the coffee and chats. Joe (the dog) enjoyed his stay as well. A great place to spend some nights. Highly recommend.

Just returned home from a great stay at Eddie's beach. The hosts Roger and Val are very welcoming and friendly. The camping spot is perfect with a fire pit and a view over the valley. The site is perfect for big groups with plenty of level parking. The camping area is covered by free super fast Wifi which is super helpful. Roger supplies all the gear to get the firepit going including fire lighters, newspaper and wood. We were invited for coffee in the morning which was a nice gesture and even given takeaway coffee when we left. We would highly recommend staying at Eddie's beach camp. It's also pet friendly and off leash too

This Hipcamp is exactly as described and all the positive reviews about the host and the site are spot on! We loved our stay and it was so nice to have the whole site to ourselves. The little touches made our stay even more pleasurable and we loved the passion fruit. You are very safe and secure at this site. We can’t wait to come back. Our doggo gave it a thumbs up too.

Fantastic spot of peace and tranquility. Fire pit worked a dream to cook on too. Camp hosts Roger and Val are so hospitable and had THE best coffee from Roger as we heard the tale of how it came to be named “Eaddies Beach”!

Roger and Val are wonderful hosts with a beautiful property. Its quiet and relaxed with a great setup. Massive fire pit, plenty of firewood, free WIFI, lots of space for large groups and plenty of area for the kids to explore. We loved our short stay so much we are heading back very soon and will arrange for our next family camping trip to be at Eddies Beach. Thank you Roger and Val.

We highly recommend staying at Eddie's Beach Farm! On arrival we were greeted by our host Roger and were given a bag of delicious passionfruit we enjoyed with breakfast each morning of our stay. Yum! Having the whole place to ourselves to relax and being able to allow our dogs to run around off lead exploring on our walks around Roger and Val's beautiful property was just perfect. We made use of the awesome firepit each evening after collecting our firewood on the property. Kangaroos, sheep, frogs and peace!..Just beautiful. Location is perfect..a short drive from sightseeing areas. Roger and Val are genuine, lovely people who go above and beyond to make your stay just how you would like it! And Eddie the dog is a cutie! We will definetly be back in the near future!

Roger and Val (and Eddie the dog) were fantastic hosts. They were welcoming, funny, informative, DTE and generous. The campground was awesome with a ripper fire pit and so much land for us to roam. Make sure you bring some ice cream to have with their passionfruit and don’t pass up a warm pint glass of Rogercino!
