See our website: EchidnaSprings .com.au 25 acre bushland property set amongst Jarrah and Marri trees. Once logged for its timber in the 1960's by Wundowie Steel Foundry for it's steel mills and furnaces, there are still many tall/older trees as well as regrowth. We often have Kangaroos, Wallabies, occasional Echidnas, Goannas, Lizards and many species of Birds. All live in the wild and there is no guarantee that we will see them We grow wildflowers such as Proteas, Leucadendron , Leucospermum (pincushions),Banksias , Eucalypt - Silver Dollar, and Cut Flowers - Osteospermum, Zinnia and Gladioli, Kangaroo Paw and Bromeliads. We also have our native species - Grass Trees, Zamia Palm and Golden Wattle . We also have fruit trees, chooks and a vegetable garden. BUSH STAY ACCOMMODATION is available.The Olivia Cabin which will accommodate up to four people.TV,DVD, aircon, fridge, toaster, kettle and cutlery, plates etc. We also have a large comfortable Tent to accommodate up to four people. Set up for the real bush experience. TV, DVD ,table and chairs .Beds and mattresses,sheets ,blankets, pillows, and doonas can be provided. You may bring your own tent,but only up to a mid sized four man tent.This is not an RV site. Hear all the sounds of the bush at night! Check out the stars planets and the moon. The sky is so clear out here. Caravans/Camper trailers are also welcome. One Powered site available. A toilet, shower and Barbeque facilities are available and our Fire Pit is ok to use in Winter and share some toasted Marshmallows. Local attractions include: Toodyay Emu Park, Archery Park, Avon Valley National Park and the Avon River, Paruna and Karakamia Wildlife Sanctuaries, Toodyay Townsite - Connors Mill,The Old Gaol and many other historical sites ,shops and restaurants. You can also visit the Swan Valley where there are many wineries ,pubs and restaurants.

Ed is a very welcoming host. His home is your home during your stay. Location is great for a peaceful getaway. You have the option of power or no power. There is also the option of using a shared bathroom if not self sufficient. The fire pit was available and Ed kept it well stocked with wood. Altogether a very pleasant stay.

Ed's place is nice and quiet, we stayed 2 nights to test out our camper setup. The power is 10amp only, so if your setup requires 15amp you'll need to bring your own adapter. The ablutions are in the main house. Ungrassed site and slightly sloping.

My Husband and I took our dog to stay at Ed's place for an overnight stay. It was so quiet, the only noise was from birds and the wind rustling in the trees! Ed maintains the property very well, everything is neat and in order. Ed even cooked our sausages for us on the BBQ! The cabin is very nice, it would suit 4 people no problem. Be aware there are no amenities in the cabin, the kitchen and bathroom is in the main residence.

If you want quiet then this is the place to go. We had two fantastic days at ED’s place. Great night for star gazing and you could of heard a pin drop only 1 hour away from Perth Ed joined us for chats and a couple of beers. Thanks again Ed for sharing your dream location

We had a lot of fun at our stay with Ed. He was an extremely friendly host and my daughter loved playing with the baby chickens on the property. Facility wise the tent was super comfortable and we had use of a nearby toilet/shower and fridge.

Had a great stay at this property. Ed was a fab host and very welcoming. He even had the fire on and had a beer with us and provided marshmallows.
