Economy Studio - No Ensuite
We stayed in a family studio room. It was a big room. The beds were comfortable, the linen was clean. The decor was a little outdated, but tidy. The bathrooms were close to the room, and they were always kept clean and the shower was hot and had good water supply. The pool spa was not heated. Overall a good stop for our two nights.

Everything was fine, not luxurious but decent. However, the surroundings with nearby residents make you feel uncomfortable as they just keep staring. For a reason, I requested a refund, and they accepted it, but it took 2-3 weeks with some calls and reminders, which could have been handled better.

Economy 1BR Cabin - Queen Bed and Single
We were in one of the new cabins in this park for a few days. The cabin was exceptionally good in terms of cleanliness and facilities provided. The park was crowded with many long-term customers. Kitchen BBQ facilities were limited. The Wi-Fi and TV signal in our cabin was very weak. Could not use the television for any content and could not use my streaming device due to the poor signal quality. Overall our experience was bit below average as compared to other similar parks.

Only stayed one night. Our site was great, plenty of room for both van and vehicle on hard pad. Showers were hot and facilities clean , an older block but fine for us. Very convenient location. The permanents were no problem Staff were very friendly and helpful We’ll be back

Economy 1BR Cabin - Queen Bed and 2 Single
I stayed for 2 night in the April school holidays in a family cabin (shared bathroom). The first thing to note is that this is a 'Classic' Big4. It's an older campground with simple amenities. With that in mind, my stay (with my 10 year old) was excellent and great value for money. The staff are the loveliest, and the place was spotlessly clean. Our cabin had 2 beds and they were nicely made with comfortable mattresses, bedding and lots of pillows. There were warm fluffy blankets in the wardrobe and we loved them. The kitchen was well equipped, much better than I thought. There was ample crockery, plenty of pots and pans, and all the utensils I needed. The unit doesn't have a full oven (it has a hob and microwave) so i used the shared Camp Kitchen and was impressed - great oven, all the utensils I could ever need, and very clean. The shared bathrooms which are adjacent to the cabin I stayed in were perfectly adequate and very clean all the time. The swimming pool is FREEZING. I can't work out how it was so cold but it did not stop children swimming in it. The loungers around the pool were great for me and other parents to lie in and supervise. It was great to see staff pass by every half hour and check to make sure everything was okay in the pool area. One unexpected highlight was the DVD library in the games room. Our cabin had a DVD player and my child had never seen a DVD in real life. We watched a few movies and really enjoyed the experience - its a great range of DVDs. Plus I found a good book in the collection to read. It's worth noting that the park has quite a lot of permanent residents in caravans with lean-tos. They were friendly and the park was quiet. It was a surprise, I hadn't seen that before, but it was not a problem. We slept well and heard nothing in the night. There is plenty of car parking. I loved my get away to Big4 Midland and will be back. As long as future visitors remember it is a 'Classic' park, it should meet all your expectations. Being a 'Classic' it is great value for money! We paid $118 per night in the peak school holiday period and it was totally worth it.

Absolutely top notch service. In this case the service can be judged by what happens when something goes wrong. After a booking misshap I was allowed to stay in an upgraded room and I couldn't be happier. Shout out to Rachel on front desk!

Classic camp-site experience on well-kept grounds. Friendly and accommodating staff, access to games room, outdoor pool, and hot tub with shower and toilet blocks. Very clean. The cabins are very nice with all you'd need for a home away from home stay. The entire experience is classic, affordable, and quiet. Close to public transport and local shops while being just a stones throw out from the wine region of Swan Valley.

Have stayed here many times over the past six yes, from their single rooms to their powered sites. Camp kitchen, laundry and ablutions block always modern, clean and tidy. Book well ahead to avoid disappointment. Situated in the heart of Midland, accessible to all major shops.

Superior 2 Bedroom Cabin
We stayed a week. It was a perfect landing spot for our activities at Gudgegannup. The receptionist on arrival (Blonde lady) was lovely, and checked ys in early. Big room, 2 double/queen beds, kitchennette, lounge, TV, dining table, wardrobe. Toilet and showers were shared but clean, and close by. Car park out front. Laundry, card operated machines at $7 per load.
