The view was very beautiful. Ed was very helpful showing us the campsite and very enjoyable to talk to. Do definitely plan to come back sometime. Great for a group of people lots of room to set up and still be able to have privacy.
Ed was an amazing host! The campsite was more than we expected and we enjoyed every bit of it. Definitely recommend this campsite! We will be coming back again hopefully making this an annual camping ground for my family.

What an amazing place to stay at! Ed’s property was perfect. I had almost 20 people with me and Ed was very accommodating. With all the trees around we had plenty of privacy from other campers. I loved all the fruit trees, wild flowers and a creek. I can’t say enough at how kind Wd was 😊 I will certainly come back here again and again. Plenty of space to explore on the 22 acres as well.

A Hidden Gem Worth Returning To

Isla Springs is truly a hidden gem. We spent the weekend here and I cannot recommend it enough. It is beautiful, serene, and incredibly quiet, with the obvious exception of the trains.
We had the site closest to the tracks, directly across the creek, and trains pass frequently day and night. They’re loud, but I honestly loved them. They don’t blare their horns, and there was something oddly peaceful about hearing them rumble through the trees with the creek flowing beside us. For me, it became part of the ambience rather than taking away from it.
Even with other campers throughout the property, we hardly knew anyone else was there. We only saw people while walking around, everyone kept to themselves, and our site felt incredibly private.
Ed is a wonderful host, but what stood out most was how much he genuinely cares about the land. Hearing about the trees he’s planted and his reforestation efforts made us appreciate this place even more. You can see the love and work he puts into caring for it.
The porta potties were very clean. I’d still recommend bringing your own camp toilet since the property is large and you may not be near one.
Between the creek, trees, privacy, and Ed’s care for this beautiful place, Isla Springs is something special. We absolutely loved our weekend here and can’t wait to come back!

Great place to camp! Beautiful location, easy to find, checking in was a breeze! We will definitely be back next summer!
We really enjoyed our stay here! I especially loved walking around the property and seeing all of the beautiful wildflowers, plum trees, and apple trees. The plums were delicious! Ed was friendly and took the time to share more about the property with us. You can really see how much care he has put into the land and the incredible number of trees he has planted over the years. It’s a special place, and we’re so glad we got to experience it.

This was our families second summer camping at Ilsa springs. It quickly became this is one of our favorite weekend escapes. Ed is so friendly and has great insight into his property and things to do around the campground. We love picking fruit from the many varieties of trees he has spread all around grounds. The kids love exploring the creek and finding rocks and shells. We will be back again next year. Thank you Ed

Great Private Stay near the Creek!

We really enjoyed our stay on Ed's 22-acre property! It offers plenty of privacy, making it a great spot to kick back and relax. Having both a firepit and a wood-burning stove provided was a huge plus for campfires and plenty of dead wood for use.
A few helpful notes for future campers:
* **Facilities:** Plan to bring your own setup unless you don't mind a short stroll over to the porta-potty.
* **Creek & Surroundings:** It's a moderate walk down to the creek, but it is completely worth it—the water is super clear and awesome to hang out by.
* **Train Tracks:** There are train tracks located on the other side of the river. Trains do run continuously throughout the day and night, but thankfully, they don't blow their horns, so it wasn't a major disruption!

Ed was awesome and super flexible with our arrival and departure time as we booked last minute. A lovely, unique spot by the river and convenient for our day trip to St. Helens.
I had the most wonderful time at Isla Springs. The host, Ed was so great and showed me around the property. He has put so much intentional work into making Isla Springs a warm, inviting place. He has planted many unique trees and flowers all around the property. I loved hanging out in the creek and looking for rocks! There's plenty of fruit trees (plum, apples) that you can pick (mid August). The area was super clean and I felt safe solo camping with my dogs. I can't wait to come back with my family. Highly recommend Isla Springs.

Loves our stay. Small hike down to the creek, where we spent most of the time because it was hot and a beautiful area. Will be planning more trips and am excited to see what Ed has in store for the future. My wife and I always wanted some land on a stream to put a bunch of campsites. Ed's property is what we envision and has so much potential. Totally jealous lol. Thanks Ed! We will be back with the kids

Isla Springs site was well kept and maintained. Great spot to camp.
This was my second time staying at Ed’s property. It was a lovely stay and Ed is an incredibly friendly and welcoming host.
Ed was a great host! Land was pretty and peaceful. The site we had was semi private with a table and a fire pit. Porta potty was a close walk. Creek was clean and refreshing.

Ed clearly loves his land and is happy to share the hard work he has put into the property. It is a beautiful area.
We loved camping at Isla Springs. The land is beautiful, the creek is perfect for wading with swimming holes too. The sites are nicely spread out and Ed is such a stalwart steward of the forest.
We'll be back!

This was our second annual camping trip to Isla Springs and it was pure magic. There's privacy and beautiful scenery. It is our favorite camping spot and can't wait to return. Ed is a joy to chat with and he takes so much pride in caring for his land. It's a wonderful, magical place.
