It's a great location, 1hour from the zoo. Yes it's on the road but it is very quiet. Multiple camps to drive in but some is overgrown with branches and long grass. The toilet hadn't been cleaned and we had to fill up the portaloo water ourselves too. One of the neighbours were playing doof doof music all night which definitely ruined alot of it for us. Would still recommend though as a camp before heading into town or the zoo etc.

Slight feedback: only if the owner/host can put a simple sign on the gate would have greatly helped.

Awesome little get away spot , very scenic and alot of animals to view on the property.
The only negative is the 1 toilet but there are clean public toilets 2min drive down the road 👌🏽

Great little spot not too far out of Melbourne. Decided late to just throw in a small setup and take the young fella camping and we had a great overnight stay, little camp fire and some peace and quiet amongst the stars!

We had such a wonderful time at Cameron’s land! The location is peaceful. The directions were clear and easy to follow, and the campsite was well maintained. We especially loved how private it felt, while still having everything we needed close by. At night, the sky was full of stars.

Great spot for car camping!
My wife and I had a relaxing stay here. It was quiet, easy to access, and perfect for car camping. We enjoyed the peaceful surroundings and had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend for a chill getaway.

Great little camp site for an overnighter with the kids. Lots to explore and nicely tucked away. Facilities were adequate and everything was as described. Hard to believe this is so close to Melbourne!

We love this spot. Each time we have stayed there have been no other campers around., lucky us! Very quiet area, level ground for camping in our rooftop tent, clean loo, lots of kangaroos and birds to be seen and lovely bushy area. Would feel a sense of privacy even if others there too. Plenty of good wood to be found and designated fire areas. We will definitely be back!

We pitched a 2 man swag for the night. There were a few other campers however plenty of room for us all. We walked up and down the site, lit a little fire and enjoyed the starry night. Be weary of bull ants but besides that, it was very peaceful and I would definitely book again especially we booked last minute. Thank you for the space and freedom.

Really pleasant short stay at the two dams. Great communication from Cameron and very easy to find. Plenty of fire pits around and the portaloo was clean and tidy.
We wish we had at least another night there but had to continue on! Can definitely recommend this campground.

Booked in to stay here but had absolutely no hope of finding the venue, incurring a $60 fee by taxi to return us back to Bacchus marsh. Very disappointed, was a very stressful trip.
Needs better directions on how to get to destination, especially as there is no reception when you get up the hill. Even with location suggested brought up on maps, it was not to be found.

Easy to locate, super quiet and spacious. Lots of gorgeous birds and kangaroos around! Very short drive to Lerderderg State Park or to Darley/Bacchus Marsh for supplies. Recommended.

The positives:
Nice quiet place to spend a few days, good prices.
The campsites themselves are good with trees that provide a decent amount of shade on most sites. Fire are allowed which I always enjoy, good walking tracks nearby, and close to town even tho you wouldn't notice.
The down sides :
the portable toilet hasn't seen any maintenance for a considerable amount of time, based on the condition it was in.
The very last site on the southern end away from the larger dam, has a resident fox that has no fear of people ( obviously being fed by people) and constantly harrases your camp for scraps at night. (Not good if you have small children or pets).

Great flat open spot with plenty of space and quiet. Although there are cars on the nearby road they are infrequent and did not worry me

Great spot for an overnight trip to work the gorge the next day which is only a short 15min drive from the trail head. There were 2 other campers there at the same time yet we all had our own space. The toilet however had ran out of water so I'm hoping they have fixed this for future campers.
