David and the Wallaby Field were absolutely amazing. David was accommodating and showed us around, telling us about all the local walks and activities.
The field was spacious, and we were welcomed by wallabies on our arrival. Can't wait to stop by again!

Wallaby Field Adventure Bay
Dave was super easy to deal with on our last minute booking. Perfectly situated in close proximity to Bruny Island Cruises and heaps of walks.
Heaps of ‘Roos including albino ones and some of our favs ‘turbo’ (local) chucks.
Maybe a little tidy up of the paddock would make it more chilling during the day, but we were too busy and last minute ; so it didn’t bother us at all. Very “eclectic” collection of items around the property.

David was friendly and welcoming. His quirky farm was the perfect place to stay for the night, it had great scenery and plenty of friendly wallabies who came to say hello. A very short walk from the beach. Would definitely return!

The name definitely suits! Had many inquisitive wallabies during our one night stay. David was very welcoming and the spot he set out for us was lovely and tranquil. Was also great to have an outdoor fire!

Wallaby Field Adventure Bay
It's a wonderful place. Birds sing, turkeys are surrounded, and you can see kangaroos wandering around at any time. If you want to find the feeling of nature, this is the right place; David is a very good person and helpful; the location is very convenient, and you can go on fishing with nearly by foot at any time. We really enjoyed the atmosphere of the moment.

Loved our stay on David's property, he could not have been more helpful or generous. We saw plenty of wildlife and their was a lot of choice about where we could set up our tent. Will be back next time we are around.

The location is very good at Adventure Bay. Isolated and abounds with wildlife. It was peaceful, close to the Bruny Island Wildlife Cruise terminal and the Adventrure Bay Store. The wner was friendly and welcoming and was more than happy for us to choose our own camp site on the property. However, there is a significant amount of 'stuff' (farming equipment, cars, caravans...etc) strewn across the property that made it difficult to find a good location that didn't include these items in the view.

Loved it so much we extended our stay.
David is a top bloke, down to earth and generous as well. He gave us some fresh veggies from his garden and provided us with 2 massive grill plates for the camp fire. Let us choose wherever we wanted to camp.
The space is flat with heaps of wildlife coming to visit, close to the beach but away from the crowd. The entrance could be a bit tricky for big rigs but not impossible.
Great spot that is better suited for self-contained campervans/motorhomes.
100% recommended, great experience. If we go back to Bruny we know where to go.

David was great from booking, to confirmation to leaving. The property is amazing with soo many wallabies surrounding our motor home. It was so peaceful. I got our motor home stuck on David’s fence and he was so kind and put humour into a horrible situation and saved me from putting a hole in the side. Would definitely recommend this property if I’m a smaller camer or van

Great little spot to stay! David was very responsive and helpful from the first contact.
We were a group of 3 large caravans and we all fitted into the large open grassy space with a camp fire area. There were other nice little spots but a bit hard to access with bigger vans. We had the place to ourselves, It was a very peaceful spot. The kids had a great time and we caught several squid from the beach and jetty.
There were plenty of wallabies to watch and a special few white wallabies. Great spot to walk the Fluted Cape walking track and if you wanted to jump on a Pennicott Cruise.
At first glance you might think it’s a junk yard but if you position yourself in the right spot you will not notice.
Beware of the friendly rooster waking you up early.
Great spot and close to Adventure Bay and perfect to explore Bruny Island.

Great spot, short walk through a field to the beach, heaps of animals. Yeah there was a some broken down machinery about the place, but adds to the charm.
We were given the choice of a few lovely grassy patches with nice bush outlook. Lots of fire pots and some wood provided. We will be back for sure!

It was super close to Adventure bay but hidden away from everyone. Great spot super quiet and David was friendly. Fire wood is limited as you just pick up sticks and branches that you find. We also got a pulsar into the property incase anyone is wondering if smaller vehicles can access property.

David was very welcoming and offered us his best site near the bird sculpture. We where welcome to any wood and our site was private. I'd recommend a higher car as the track is under developed. Lots of sites available but please be warned there is a lot of junk on site. We where very pleased we couldn't see this from our camp. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Once set up in position, our spot was pleasant. Notable for its proximity to the beach and a great walk to the Fluted Cape coastline with some great historic interpretive panels, as well as lots of wild life milling about. Be aware that the property is pretty densely packed with abandoned equipment and vehicles and you’ll pass a lot of these on the way in. So it’s not your typical “farm”, but more of a rural property in some stage of development.

We stayed here with a caravan. The property is huge with space to spread out, surrounded by bush and wallabies. The location is sensational - close to the beach, the start of the fluted cape walk and the boat tour which was also a highlight.
Dave was helpful when we had issue with our water supply. We would definitely stay here when we come back to Bruny Island.

A beautiful spot! Quiet and peaceful, incredible location close to beach with great wildlife. So many wallabies - even an albino spotted- and many many bird species. We loved it. But no toilet so be prepared. Would definitely visit again though.

I agree with all the other positive reviews - Dave’s camp is an amazing spot, with loads of room, wildlife and access to its own end of the best beach on the island Adventure Bay. Dave is also very friendly and happy to help with anything. We were a family of 5 with 3 young kids and they all loved it. Highly recommend.

We loved our stay here! David was so welcoming and kind, he helped us find a good spot for our little camper, brought us round some firewood and later some fresh rocket and broad beans from his garden. Delicious! Woke up surrounded by wallabies, including little baby ones and a few of the famed white ones. A peaceful and perfect spot to explore and relax in Bruny!

Great spot about 200m from the beach. David had a good spot for us that was private and good for the kids. Nice and flat, and got a camper trailer through. Creeks are around, so be cautious of snakes, but stick to the clearing and you'll be right. Really friendly bloke, offered veggies from his garden (which looked great!)
