Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
We are a registered RV Ground Site with Mackay City Council, Meaning we have quite a few restrictions in place in regards to where you can camp on the property. You need to be Self-Sufficient, Can only stay for a maximum of 3 Consecutive nights and need to be 40m from the residences and 100M from the drain on Youngs Lane. This unfortunately takes most of the prime sites out of play. However for $14 per night in the middle of Walkerston it`s a bargain. We are working on the property so if there is a piece of machinery in the way just find another spot (in compliance of the regulations of course). We may make some noise or generate dust, We apologise in advance and will keep it to a minimum. Any issues just let us know. Cheers, Lindsay & Russell.

Friendly, welcoming host. The site is very handy to local shops, and not far from Mackay itself. Nice flat grassy sites. Appears to be a new venture, and Lindsay is busy preparing extra sites, also nice and flat. No water or power available at this stage. Very quiet spot. Would highly recommend for a night or longer. Well done Lindsay.
