Miners Camp is an excellent choice for those looking for a laid-back camping experience in the heart of the Gemfields. Its spacious, level sites and location make it a great option. It's an ideal spot for anyone who wants to be close to the action and the convenience of Rubyvale's small township. Just be sure to check on the latest facilities and come prepared for a proper outback adventure.

Campground very basic, you do need to be self contained. No showers….toilets only accessible from approximately 8am until 3pm….when staff are on the premises. After hours there are alarms so you can’t access anywhere around the main buildings.
The staff/ owners were very pleasant and the tour into the mine was really interesting and the guide was extremely pleasant and knowledgeable. At the end of the tour you can buy a “bonza bag” and go to the tables for a fossick/scratch and see if you get any sapphires or zircons.
All in all a fun morning.

Great off-grid site for caravans. Bluey Richardson and team were incredibly friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about all things Gemfields. Plenty to do on-site and very close to other Gemfield towns and attractions. Make sure you include a visit to Rodney and team at Sparrows Perch pub at Anakie. A geat spot with great stories.

Amazing experience on the walk in mine tour! My kids had their first experience at sapphire fossicking, and it didn’t disappoint. The park was clean and tidy.

Best suited to caravans, not overly flat for camping and heaps of bugs. Rosters crowing first night kept us up and then the neighbouring dog the next night barked until 3am.

We found some of the staff wonderful, helpful and pleasant. Instructions on where to camp were not overly clear and we needed to move. The underground mine tour was great.

GPS took us to the location easily. Plenty of phone coverage. Friendly & informative staff on arrival.
Plenty of open space to choose from. We had 2 vans, and 5 dogs between us all. Lots of shaded areas to choose from as well.
Toilets nearby to use, during day hours, however they are locked at night.
No water on site.
Cafe is open from 8-2, which was lovely.
We done the underground mine tour, that’s also on site. Excellent, very informative tour guide. Easy to do as well, took about 45 minutes.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Miners Heritage. Although the ground was a bit hilly for parking, we quickly found a way to level our van. The peaceful surroundings and proximity to Rubyvale town made it an ideal spot for our first off-grid experience for 2 nights.

Self contained great little spot middle of nowhere, Sunday night was very quiet and peaceful, we were the only ones there. Went on the mining tour during the day and the cafe is nice.

Great potential with large open space for fully self contained camping. Staff could be friendlier. Wandering dogs from outside keep coming into camp and stirring up our dogs and leaving droppings. A lot of broken glass and rusty metal bits around, not great with kids and dogs. Mine/shop was closed during the stay so we went fossiking down the road with very friendly helpful staff.

Great place to stay if you are self contained. Quiet at night Cafe opens at 8am and the mine tour was great. Just a short walk down the hill.

Stayed out the back of Miners Heritage. You need to be fully self contained and cannot use their amenities at any time. They have an amazing large communal fire pit. Was very spacious, quiet and felt very safe. Also took advantage of the cafe, mining tour and fossicking a bucket of wash. The local inquisitive wallabies were super cute too. We would come back here again and can highly recommend the stay.
