Caretaker Peter was very nice. Safe and peaceful place, lovely to watch the sheep and chickens. Only downside is that the unpowered sites are on a slant. Would stay again (:

My daughter and I met there for 3 days. It was lovely. Camping is very close to the house. The hosts were lovely and very accommodating.
It is self contained. We didn't realise that. But they had a shower and toilet there for us to us. Will visit again soon

we arrived late at platypus bushcamp so we didnt get to see much of the amenities, although in the morning the place looked quite nicely decorated. we stayed at the powered site but it was a distance from the main camp where the toilet and other facilities are, so that may be a bit of a downside. finding the power at night was also a bit of a challenge. there are also some waterlogged areas so beware when driving your vehicle. perhaps if u would like to stay you should stay at the main camp.

Awesome little spot just out of Rockhampton. Peaceful, green and spacious! Easily accessible and awesome to have some green grass for the kids to run around on. Extremely helpful and friendly hosts. Stayed 3 nights, wish we stayed longer!

Great spot to rest up for a few days, very quiet and with lots of feathered and furry friends to keep you company.
Bill was a godsend helping this newbie out with some electrical issues and Sally was friendly and very welcoming.
We will definitely be returning.

We had a wonderful stay here. Bill was a great host, letting our 3 year old help him feed the Sheep, Chickens and Cows. Lots of space for kids to run and get wiggles out after a big drive. Had the place to ourselves so was very relaxing and quiet. Power and Bore water hookup for $30 through Hipcamp highly recommend!

Wonderful stay here. Kids loved feeding the cows and enjoying the grass area to run around. Caretaker was excellent has well got us some firewood and was very easy to talk to. Would highly recommended staying here.

Great place. We were a family with three children. Bill fed the animals with them and gave us a tour of the owner. The place is very pleasant and he was careful to position us in a place where we were away from the others so that each motorhome has its own corner. We had taken a Powered Camp. The place is incredible. I recommend 1000%.

What a great campsite, with great hosts. The hosts a friendly, helpful and kind. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and at home. The kids love the animals and the grass to run around on. The sunsets were amazing along with the fire at night. We will definitely be back and recommending this stay to all of our friends.

We had an amazing time at LFP’s Farm Stay! The property is peaceful, beautifully maintained, and perfect for a relaxing getaway.
Our kids loved helping feed the animals—it was such a fun and unique experience for them.

We had a fantastic overnight stay—perfect for breaking up our trip through to Central Queensland! The property was peaceful and well maintained, with plenty of space to stretch out and unwind.
The highlight for the kids was definitely feeding the chickens, cows, and sheep—such a great hands-on experience that they’re still talking about!
Our host was incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. You can really feel the hospitality and care that’s gone into creating such a family-friendly stopover.
Highly recommend for anyone needing a restful stop on their travels, especially if you’ve got little ones who love animals!

Great location, close to the highway but away from the noise. Loved the country views with the cows and chocks. They went out of their way to make sure we were all set and comfortable . Enjoyed having a chat. Will definitely come back if travelling thru the area.

Kids loved it! We travelled to Gracemere for my husband to play soccer in Rockhampton, so found this HipCamp to be the perfect spot to mix soccer with a bit of a farm stay. Snowy and Princess the cow were so friendly, my son loved them, and has already asked when we are coming back to see them. Close to town for a quick trip to Woolies, quiet and peaceful area. Chickens, Guinea fowl, sheep - take your pick! All super friendly which was brilliant for the kids. Firewood was provided with the fire pit which was great once the kids were in bed to sit and enjoy the property. Amazing hosts 👍🏻
