Site was great but finding it was a bloody pain no name on gate no road number on your web site no phone number on your web site what more do need . I spoke to Mark about the problem ok

Beautiful Oak Beach
What a top spot! Mark the owner is lovely and super helpful. The property is well laid out and easily accessible by 2 or 4wd. Fishing, swimming and bushwalking all a stone's throw away and only 30 mins from Cairns. We will be back, thanks for a great stay 😊

Beautiful Oak Beach
We loved our night at Oak Beach . We had the whole area to our 5 car group and it was very private . It was very relaxing and very green grass . Had a great fire pit in the provided steel fire ring. I walked to the beach through the back of the property by following the blue ribbons. The donkeys are super cute and friendly . Thanks Mark very much for sharing your property with visitors .

Camped overnight after spending some time trying to locate the camp site. Lots of space and could be a good alternative as it gets better known.

Really nice spot but highly recommend taking repellant as mozzies are a little rampant. Walk to the beach was a little confronting and not for those with mobility issues as there are creeks to cross and trees to maneuver round and over and yes there is an estuary beside the walk which we were told may quite possibly have crocodiles so just take care.

Booked one night and we thought it was gonna be a wet one but the sun came out and the night sky was clear! Mark was easy to communicate with and clear instructions as to where to find the spot and where to camp. Finding the property wasn’t too much of a problem either but I recommend using 3D google maps if you do find it difficult. Dont forget to pat the donkeys!

Directions clear. Multiple sights to choose from within the property. Enjoyed camping at Mark's property, perfect spot. Met other campers , opportunity to throw a line in and perfect swimming spot all within a stones throw from property. Kids had a fabulous time. Perfect Easter weekend spent in nature.

Lovely place to camp, a lot of fresh water in the creeks so no
Mud crabs but a nice walk to the beach. We had a grate time exploring and relaxing, short drive to Port Douglas and Mark was very friendly.

Spent 2 nights here, absoutely loved it !! Mark was awesome host, warm and friendly, and great advice!
Just down the road is cragile with servo, bottle shop.
If you walk the blue arrow on marks property, triple aerogard😂😂😂
Fire pits there for use, which my kids loved!

Beautiful Oak Beach
We had a fantastic time staying at this property. Mark was a fabulous host and we enjoyed a good chat with him. The fire pits at each campsite, the magnificent view of the mountains and the little adventure walk through the rainforest to the beach were so great we came back and stayed a second time! A short drive into Port Douglas- we would highly recommend staying here.

Great spot very close to the Thala Nature reserve. Incredible views from the grounds, pretty much park up wherever and enjoy a fire with firewood from the land. A truly beautiful and peaceful stay 😄

I loved this spot! It was so quiet and peaceful and we had a beautiful view of the mountain. A huge site with a fire pit and complete privacy. I would definitely stay here again. And Mark is so easy to work with.

Beautiful big sites with privacy, overlooking the hills, big sky and bush. We were the only ones there so had our pick of about 5? Sites. Mark was so great and hospitable. Kids fell in love with the dog, BD, who we took waking along the beach every day. Track to beach was an adventure.
This was such a welcome relief to camp here away from the crowds.
You need to be self sufficient. Nb: There’s a great brand new dump point not far down the road toward PD.
There is some noise from the road but this whole stretch of coast has that- no complaints from us.
Will stay again for sure.

Beautiful Oak Beach
We booked 1 night and stayed 4! Grassy, level and private sites with easy access. Track to the creek and beach and central to all the sights. Lots of birds to spot and beautiful sunsets over the mountain behind. Would definitely stay again, thank you Mark for sharing your little piece of paradise with us.

We booked for three days ended up staying a week. A beautiful place to stay and close to many attractions in the area. Mark & his wife are superb hosts & very accomodating. Highly recommend staying here. The only negative was little or no phone service which proved to be a blessing in disguise.
Next time we venture to this amazing part of the world we will definitely be staying there.

We had a wonderful stay at Mark and Heathers place at Oak Beach. We had lots of room and it was lovely and green. It was a great spot to base yourselves for exploring the surrounding areas. We also had a great lunch at the beautiful Thala resort just up the road. There are no facilities but this was not a problem for us.

A beautiful property located between Port Douglas and Palm Cove. A perfect base for all the area has to offer as well as opportunity to relax amongst the sound of waves, green grass, a tree swing and friendly horses, chickens and Bede the dog!
