Such a nice quiet overnight getaway with low key environment and really able to connect with nature. Rachel was so sweet and generous and you can tell her desire to hold a sweet sanctuary for others shines through.

This is such a great campsite that I hesitate to leave a good review so that I can keep it a secret! I highly recommend. It is peaceful, quiet, and convenient.

We very much enjoyed our stay at The Last Resort. I haven't slept in a camper since I was a teenager, so it was a fun throwback for me.
The camper itself is cozy and comfortable, and when you plug in the string lights, it starts to feel like a little fort, in the best way possible.
Fresh eggs and firewood are available from the host, and both were great. Especially the eggs!
To anyone on a motorcycle, this would be a great spot to set up camp and ride some really beautiful roads. I ended up not bringing my motorcycle on this trip, and I immediately regretted it. Motorcycle access to the camper involves a very short bit of riding on grass, etc but nothing you can't handle.

I found this spot hours before I needed to check in. Directions were easy to follow. The place is private and very safe. Upon arrival I had a slight safety concern and our host Rachelle came out to make sure everything was in order immediately. I really appreciated this as I was traveling alone with a child (There was no issue or danger after all).
I stayed one night in early July. The weather was great at that time, bugs/mosquitoes minimal. There was a great place between some trees for my hammock and the fire pit was very nice with an attached rack for grilling. Toilet was feet away and shared only with one other camp site

I couldn’t recommend this more! It’s definitely on the rustic side with the composting toilet which was a new experience for me. The ground was level, the picnic table in the perfect spot, and the best fire pit I’ve ever used! I rented the camp stove, but I only used it to warm up the water for my coffee because I was impatient. Everything else I cooked over the fire! Verizon cell service was spotty but it is camping after all. I also didn’t get any mosquito bites and they always find me. Delicious eggs too! I would absolutely and highly recommend this spot!!

Camping site was awesome. Very private. Nice and quiet. Host Rachelle was awesome. She come every morning make sure outhouse was clean , there was running wather. If you ever wan to get away nice quiet place. This is place to be.

Nice private spot. Shared with a camper and people who don’t know how to use the composting toilet despite clear directions left a gross mess. Love that there is a handwash station outside the toilet. Our tent spot was nice and big awesome fire pit with a cook grate that swings over the fire. We ordered firewood and it was stacked neatly in camp. The owner came over and brought the camp stove which I admit we did not need since we could cook over the fire. There is the sound of working farms sheep, chickens, cows. It’s a nice spot a place to leave trash and recycle is a nice touch. We would return for sure.

This was the second trip to Last Resort and it was just as wonderful as the first time. Rachelle is a great host and provided extra wood when she was enjoying her own weekend getaway. I will definitely stay here again, thank you!

Rachelle's farm is a BEAUTIFUL spot! nestled in some trees with a spacious picnic table and fire pit. We loved the trailer, it was adorable and perfect. The composting toilet was also great. Thank you for the water in the jug and coffee and hot cocoa!
I would absolutely stay here again, it was very serene and immaculate. Thank you for having us!!

The Last Spot was peaceful perfection. Rachelle was incredibly kind and accommodating. The site was delightful! The site was private, level, and had a perfect view of the moonlight flooded meadow (hay field 😁). Perfect spot to land after a day of gravel riding and the many other activities that Hamill County has to offer. 100% would book again! Do t forget to purchase fresh eggs, they are, indeed, the best eggs!

I loved using the on site trailer and had a great time spending the evening by the fire. It was straightforward to find and we here provided everything we would need for camping. The night was super dark and the stars were so easy to see. I would come again!

Campsite is not far from the road, every now and then a vehicle is heard.
Campsite is also near a farm house.
Campsite is in the corner of an empty field against a forest. You get a farm view on one side and forestry on the other.
The campsite and field are taken care of and not overgrown. They even throw hay onto the area of where you would set up the tent.
Entry road has gravel so 2wd and 4wd can drive without needing the hike.
It's very peaceful, away from major civilization with no human contact.
What attracted us was that they allowed a bonfire while all other options restricted it.
The non potable water has an interesting smell to it so we didn't use it.
(Maybe if you boil it you can use it for cooking, I didn't risk it)
That being said, make sure you have enough water for cooking and drinking.
This is in the countryside so being woken up to the sound of local dogs and some sort of wild cats was not surprising.
Great place for an overnight city escape
We enjoyed our stay and would recomend it to others, definitely will be back.

Wonderful cozy nook in the Willamette valley countryside!
We ended up getting there a bit later then expected but everything was ready for our arrival!
It was very peaceful to sit by to the fire and listen to the sounds of the night.
The vintage trailer was perfect. The mattress was comfortable and there was plenty of room for 2.
We cooked some of their eggs for breakfast in the trailer without trouble.
I'll be staying here again if possible!

We loved camping on Rachelle's land. The directions were excellent. The site was level, clean, and beautiful. We appreciated the picnic table and the fire pit. The toilet was great and we loved the hand washing setup. The site was very quiet and secluded. The additional fresh eggs were perfect for our breakfast. We will be back.

We absolutely loved our stay during the Perseid Meteor Shower. It was one of the first campsites to pop up in the search and we're so glad it did. The open field is excellent for star gazing, the hosts are wonderful (definitely try the figs and eggs they offer as extras) and have made the tent sites near their farm very comfortable with water, an outhouse, a table and contained campfire set up. There's even a spot for a hammock. This site is also in the heart of wine country so, should you want to do a little "pinkies up" tour of the area by day, there's no shortage of options.

Beautiful private spot…loved the view over the field. Picnic table and fire pit made the spot cozy. Loved listening to the crow of the roosters and frogs croaking into the evening.

Everything went very smoothly. Everything was clean, welcoming, and laid back. I appreciated the transparency of what to expect and what is expected. It was very relaxing and loved not having to spend a good amount of time setting up to camp. Everything is just right there. I also enjoyed how private the location is. I love the condition the Trailer has been kept in too. The price is also right and I would definitely return here.

This was a beautiful and quiet place to stay, and with a well cared for camp site. Farm animals in the distance and owls hooting at night. The host was very nice and the fresh eggs were great. I appreciated the composting toilet and having a hand washing station. This was a great value for the money!

Simple site on edge of mowed field. Tent spot in the shade most of the day and a small grove of trees to hammock in. Super easy to communicate with owner. Nice to find a spot to camp in the Valley since there aren’t a lot of options.

This was such a delightful stay under the stars! This sweet little trailer had everything we could need and more— so many thoughtful touches. The bed and pillows were super comfortable and the pitcher of ice cold water was the ultimate luxury while camping. Rachelle was super responsive and helpful with any and all questions. We can’t wait to come back (and stay longer next time!)
