Had some trouble finding the place because going google maps had us turn two properties sooner.
The place is peaceful and had a nice short walk to the Nahelem River. Great place for a one night stopover!

It was a green and vibrant spot. The spiders and slugs were out in force. We heard at least 3 owls and many other rare birds. My son had fun with the chickens.

Great campsite! We caught a ton of crawfish to cook up for dinner. Nice spot for fishing and wading as well. Hosts were awesome, thanks for having us!

Nice place to crash for a night, easily accessible from the Banks-Vernonia trail. Only complaints were lack of bathroom access and not much privacy.

Beautiful site on a magical little farm with soft grass, lush trees for shade, a table and chairs, and a cool path down to the serene river. My husband and I stayed here one night with our two pups as a last-minute booking on our way back from exploring the coast. Michael was a welcoming, considerate and helpful host. We appreciated the site being tucked back in away from the main road so it felt very secure and private.
The WIFI worked great -- much appreciated in an area with bad service. Loved getting to watch the goats and chickens :) Big thanks to Michael, family and critters for sharing their beautiful space with us -- highly recommend if you're looking for somewhere to visit and would def stay again!

Camp Barnside With Farm Views
Everything was true to the listing, very cute goats. We stopped and got a camping toilet before we camped here and I highly recommend this. Enjoyed the wooden platform to set up the tent on, just stayed for one night.

Our trip didn't start out as we planned but Meliza and Mike's spot saved it. We had another camp scheduled, but found out after we arrived that they had no WiFi or cell service. A few minutes down the road we found Cascadia Park Camping. Last minute booking and we were on our way. Even though they were not expecting us, as we got there before the reservation processed, they welcomed us and gave us our choice of spots. Their Starlink system worked great. We had Internet and were good to go.
The place is next to a small river so there's wadding, fishing, and is just a few feet from the camping spots.
You can hear traffic go past occasionally as the road is not that far away but it was not unbearable.
All around a good experience.
Friendly hosts, enjoyable stay, and a great spot if you want to get away but need to stay in touch with the outside world.
We would definitely stay there again.

I had such a wonderful stay at Two Doves homestead! The hosts were very kind in showing me around the farm and telling me a bit about all the structures and trails; it was a very welcoming atmosphere! The two goats absolutely stole my heart and were my favorite part of my stay. They run along the fence with you to say hello and get pats— it was so much fun to watch them run around! One of them likes to give gentle head-butts through the fence which just cracked me up! All the animals seem very happy, well taken care of, and friendly around visitors! The RV spot is right next to the goat & chicken pen, so I got to watch the animals play from my window :)
The RV spot was easy to pull into, clean, and shady! There was a spigot with potable water right next to the site and the water actually tasted pretty good! From the campsites, it’s just a short walk over to the trails and the beautiful creek. Bring a stick to fight off the spiders, because the walk down to the water is worth it!
The sites are spread out enough that I felt I had privacy from other campers, but I wasn’t isolated. I would stay here again without hesitation! I’m already missing my goat friends.

Two Doves Farmstead RV Site
It is a beautiful spot, surrounded by trees. The walk to the creek is short and easy, and it's gorgeous down there as well.
It was fun to be around farm animals (goats and chickens) too.

Beautiful area! Nestled up to the Nehalem River, this spot is roomy and shaded to pitch your tent. Ample room for different tent options as the site says accommodates 6 ppl. Michael and his wife greeted us warmly and answered any questions. They allowed dogs on leash and were very relaxed when our 3 ur old puppy was barking with excitement at his first camping trip!
A large fire pit is at the site for use and a cool large wooden wire spool table was there for use. The site is in view of the home, but we were able to park our truck and situate our tent so we weren’t looking directly at the house and had a beautiful nature setting for our viewing pleasure.
The river is not right at your site, but only steps away down a trail. We were able to enjoy the river, though weren’t able to explore to far to see if there was a bank to hang out on, as the entrance point from the trail has a very small rocky bank. Our dogs loved splashing around in the river and it had options for wading or deep water for swimming.
When you first come on the property, you see an animal enclosure where they are raising chickens and a couple of goats, family had dogs as well and all were friendly!
If you choose to camp here you are close to the town Vernonia where there are many outdoor activities to enjoy as well as a grocery store and a few restaurants and bars as well as antique stores and more.
We will definitely camp here again!
