Don was an outstanding host! Made us feel so welcome helping the kids feed the cows, setting us up with yabbie pots and just generally being a legend. And what a spot! Absolutely beautiful and sunrises to die for.

Don really does have a special spot here! It was nice and cool down by the creek - we spent the afternoon just relaxing and fishing.

Thanks Don for letting us stay at your property-Paradise Pond. You were very accommodating to our last minute get away and helpful to our needs and request. Great place to get away as it is not far from Palmerston/Darwin but you are surrounded by nature (birds, wallabies etc). We camped (5 adults and 4 children) near the creek at the property and had the camp sites to ourselves, so made it really relaxing. Was handy having the availability to use toilet and shower and also power as an emergency (note to self to check air mattress functions), as our potable car air pump could not use on this particular mattress.
The kids loved it when we caught two good sized brims and even turtles in the creek. Don had fire wood chopped available to use. My family and I would recommend staying here and next time stay longer, and would love the opportunity for the kids to explore and feed the cattle and wallabies.

What a great spot Don has on offer. We stayed for a couple of nights down near the river, shaded all day and a big, nicely grassed area. Lot's of wildlife to see and not far from Berry Springs. Will definitely be going back and would recommend to anyone, including those with kids.

Amazing camping spot near Berry Springs! Don is very welcoming and kind, and we loved camping near the water, watch the stars and hear/see the wildlife. Would love to come back soon!

We loved camping at Paradise Ponds. It waa so peaceful and the owner is so gòod. Though he wasn't there during our stay there, he still accommodated us.

Quiet location, beautiful shady area near the river to drop your fishing line in the water.
Close location to the Darwin River Pub, Tumbling Waters or Berry Springs if you wish to go on an outing.
Great land space if you are travelling with a group or family to set up cricket, footy or just to take the kids bikes etc.
Don was very welcoming and was there to greet us on arrival and show us the areas to set up, he made us feel right at home.

What an experience! Don is very accommodating and welcoming. He has a beautiful property: you can camp next to the creek, you can fish there, there is a beautiful mango tree (and you can pick the mangoes ). There are cattle on the property which are very happy if you bring them fruits or veggies! And the highlight was the joeys: so much cuteness! You can learn how to feed them and that's just an amazing experience. We also very appreciated being so close to Berry Springs. Don's place is beautiful and very well located! Highly recommend. Thanks so much.

Fantastic. Ideal and very private camp environment on the Darwin River. The host Don was brilliant and very accommodating, he gave us some great local knowledge. Short drive to the best swimming hole in the NT (Berry Springs). All the animals on his farm, local wildlife and many birds, really added to the charm of the place.

Great camping spot by the river, in shade all day and not too far from the facilities but separated by a line of trees. Lots of activities at the site - feeding cows & wallabies, fishing, putting in pots for yabbies (even caught a few!) and the host let us pick a bucketload of lemons from his trees and make lemonade. Tumbling Waters & Berry Springs only a short drive away.
