Riverwood is ideally located halfway between the country charm of the town of Bellingen and the coastal beauty of Urunga — just an easy 8-minute drive in either direction. Spend the day exploring Bellingen’s cafés, markets, and culture, or head the other way to Urunga for pristine estuaries, beaches, and ocean breezes. As night falls, drift to sleep under a canopy of stars, with the gentle sounds of the river and the peaceful company of cows nearby—a true farm-meets-nature escape. The ACCESS road to our campsite is flat and easy to navigate, though it is unsealed. For this reason, we recommend arriving in an AWD or 4WD vehicle for a smooth and comfortable journey. The campsite is basic, there are no facilities. Guests will need to provide their own toilet facilities. There are free public Dump Points available in Bellingen, Urunga, Mylestom and Coffs Harbour A mains WATER tap is available for use upon request, though it is located a short distance from the campsite. This is a 45 acre farm located approx 50 km north of Coffs Harbour and 30km south of Grafton and is just 500 meters from the Pacific Highway at Halfway Creek. The property is easily accessed by 2WD and is suitable for caravans and small to medium motor homes. Take a right turn as soon as you drive through the cream concrete entrance gates and follow the road down to the large cream shed. Here you will find manicured park-like gardens with a large dam - big enough to kayak on! There are numerous shady trees along the dam edges and you can also relax on the pontoon which overlooks the water. **Please note that the dam area is not fenced and may not suit campers with children. Campers must ensure they supervise their children at all times. This farm operates a cut flower business with over 10,000 rose bushes and has recently diversified with a large number of Australian wildflowers. The business hours are typically 6am-4pm but once or twice a week the shed does need to be accessed earlier than this so please do not park on the gravel area in front of the double roller doors. There are no amenities so campers need to be fully self-sufficient with own camping toilet and leave no trace. Please note - unless otherwise approved by host , we allow only 1 caravan or camper or tent or motorhome per site. Dog friendly. Fires are permitted if restrictions are not in place AND MUST be contained in our fire pit , a brazier or portable fire pit. Please do not light fires directly on the ground/grass. At The Good Life, we’re big on personal space. Every campsite is large, private and genuinely secluded, giving you the feeling you’re a long way from everyone and everything. Your own patch of paradise. No caravan awnings poking you in the eye, no surprise drop-ins, and no listening to your neighbour’s snoring, generator or life story. Bliss. Forget your phone alarm. Your morning wake-up call is the local kookaburra choir having a proper laugh at life. This is a true back-to-nature escape for anyone needing to pull up a stump, slow right down and properly unplug. If bird watching, stargazing or simply doing sweet nothing is your idea of a good time, you’ll fit right in. Dogs are very welcome. Keep them on a lead while you’re wandering the property, then let them be their goofy, happy selves back at camp. Campfires are practically mandatory. Every site has its own fire pit, and if you burn through your firewood faster than a pollie breaks a promise, we can sort you out with more for a small fee. Now for a quick reality check. We’re not the Hilton. In fact, we don’t provide any amenities at all. No toilets, no showers, no bins. Beautiful location right on the Bellinger River. Close to Urunga and the historic Bellingen village. Quiet and tranquil. Even there were another 5 vans on the property, everyone had enough distance and privacy which is fantastic. There are mozzies around at night so don’t forget to pack repellent. Great and easy to launch a boat, kayak etc right by the campsite. Norah is very helpful and prompt to reply if you text with any questions etc. Location was easy to find with clear instructions from Norah. Highly recommend for such a convenient yet private and tranquil site. Will definitely be back again.

We absolutely loved our stay at Riverwood 383 – Bonnie’s Paddock. From the moment we arrived, the setting exceeded our expectations. The paddock offers beautiful, peaceful river frontage, making it ideal for swimming, kayaking, fishing, or simply relaxing by the water. We enjoyed launching our kayak straight from the bank and spent hours exploring the gentle bends of the river – it was truly a highlight of our trip. The site itself felt wonderfully spacious and private, with plenty of room to set up camp without feeling crowded. The natural surrounds create a real sense of being off-grid, while still being close enough to town for conveniences and access to local attractions like Bellingen’s cafes, shops and beaches. The hosts were welcoming and communicative, providing clear arrival instructions and helpful local tips. We appreciated how easy check-in was and how responsive they were to questions before arrival. Facilities were exactly as described – simple, clean and suited to the nature-focused experience that Riverwood 383 promises. We came prepared for minimal infrastructure, and it made the stay feel more authentic and back-to-basics, which we enjoyed. Overall, this was one of the most scenic and tranquil camping spots we’ve visited. Whether you’re into fishing, boating, or just unwinding beside the water, Bonnie’s Paddock is an excellent choice. Highly recommended, and we will definitely be back!

The hosts were extremely friendly and hospitable, they recommended site 6 to us and we were absolutely glad they did. It was very private and just an amazing place to stay. Our dog was able to run around freely without any distractions as the site is very private and away from all other sites. Nana Glen is a beautiful place, it has a very quiet country town feel, there are so many great water holes to explore and some great 4WD spots. It’s only a short 30min drive to Coffs Harbour for major shops and 30 mins gets you to many different amazing beaches. We would absolutely stay there again and are already thinking about our next trip. We would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for an amazing camping place.

We booked this site on incredibly short notice and have absolutely no regrets. The moment we showed up we were greeted with big smiles and fresh eggs! We were so shocked considering we gave them only 30 minutes notice of our arrival. Our site had just been taken by someone else, but Ro directed us down to a site next to a little stream and pond. It was just what we needed for a few nights to get some washing done and have some downtime. The Firepit was excellent and there was already a heap of firewood for us to use. We had a heap of fun trying to catch yabbies and identify frogs. The hosts were so lovely, and even checked if the nearby mowing was too annoying for us. We felt so welcomed here and are excited to come back and see all the amazing things they have planned for this camp.
