Spot potoroos, bandicoots, rock wallabies, goannas, pademelons, crimson rosellas, rainbow lorikeets, sulphur-crested cockatoos, frogs, fish, and eels in the creek, and glowworms deep in the forest after dark. Explore the many tributaries that flow into Cooks Creek. Countless other birds, fish, fungi, reptiles, and marsupials await your discovery.
Embrace farm life, surrounded by free-ranging chickens, a few pet goats, neighbouring horses, and our livestock guardian dog.
The self-contained cabin and campground are completely off-grid. There is no mobile phone reception; however, Wi-Fi for internet access and Wi-Fi calling are available near the main house and cabin. Pets are not permitted on the property.
For camping, all guests must be fully self-contained and bring their own toilet (no digging holes), water, and power supply (if needed). There are no on-site camping amenities. Please take all waste with you and leave no trace to help preserve this pristine environment. If you wish to have a campfire (subject to seasonal restrictions), please discuss this with your hosts. Please do not cut down any trees.
Access may be limited during periods of heavy rain or flood warnings. If your stay is disrupted due to flooding, an alternative site or a refund will be provided. The creek is not fenced, so please supervise children at all times.
Located 50 minutes from the towns of Bellingen and Bowraville, with access via forestry trails (4WD only), this is a true escape from the hustle and bustle of civilization.
