Your outdoor-lover's paradise awaits, with hiking trails, swimming, mountain bike riding (BYO), 4WD trails, bird-watching, perfect for forest bathing.
Spot a potoroo, bandicoot, rock wallaby, goanna, padymelon, crimson rosellas, rainbow lorikeets, sulphur crested cockatoos, frogs, fish and eels in the creek and glow worms at night deep in the forest. Explore many tributaries leading into Cooks Creek. There are many other birds, fish, mushrooms, reptiles and marsupials that await your discovery.
Embrace the farm life, surrounded by free ranging chickens, a few pet goats, neighbouring horses and our livestock guardian dog.
The self-contained cabin and campground are completely off-grid; there is no phone reception, although WIFI for internet access and WIFI-calling is available near the main house and cabin. Pets are not permitted to be brought onto the property.
For camping, all campers must be fully self-contained; bringing their own toilet (no digging holes), water and power supply (if needed). There are no on-site camping amenities. Please take all waste with you (leave no trace) in order to preserve the pristine environment. If you wish to have a campfire (subject to seasonal permission), please discuss this with your hosts. Do note cut down any trees.
Access may be limited during times of heavy rain and flood warnings. If your stay is disrupted due to flooding, an alternative site or refund will be provided. The creek is not fenced, so please supervise children at all times.
Located 50 mins from the nearest towns of Bellingen and Bowraville, with access via forestry trails (4WD only), this is truly an escape from the hustle and bustle of civilisation.
