It's an easily accessible and picturesque private property with approximately 7 acres of forest, flushing toilet, hot outdoor shower, a winter creek, a swimmable spring-fed dam, and an abundance of bird and wildlife, nestled between cattle farms in the heart of the Peel region.
There are friendly free-ranging chickens and Guinea fowl, a mischievous mini pig, friendly goats, sheep, and family dogs on site. The owners Michelle, Troy, and Carolyne live and work onsite.
THIS IS NOT A PLACE TO BOOK IF YOU INTEND TO PARTY.
The camping area is easily accessed by most vehicles. There is a hot water outdoor shower and toilet available to use and within walking distance of each site.
CHILDREN - The dam on the property is currently unfenced and has steep sides when the water line is low, therefore this property is not recommended for those with small and wandering children. We also asked that older children are supervised, so as not to vandalise property, nature, gardens and fire-pits (this has been a problem in the past).
Friendly dogs are welcome, however, must be kept on a leash at all times, due to free-ranging chickens, livestock and wildlife on the property.
Our communal BBQ area is now open with a gas BBQ, picnic table and sink. We suggest bringing your own cooker, kettle, esky, etc, Bringing your own drinking water is a must, as the water from the taps comes from our spring-fed dam.
We do ask that you follow local fire regulations with no outdoor open cooking flames during fire bans.
All rubbish and waste needs to be taken with you. However, Peppa pig and our goats will always appreciate your veggie scraps.
Fires are permitted in designated fire pits during fire season. Anyone found having a fire during FIRE BANS will be reported to authorities and asked to leave the property immediately (we need to use firm words around this, as bushfire destroys homes and endangers lives).

Once logged for its timber in the 1960's by Wundowie Steel Foundry for it's steel mills and furnaces, there are still many tall/older trees as well as regrowth. As mature travellers, we appreciated this peaceful sanctuary amongst the trees and birds. We were in the area for the Perth Trail Series Chitty Chitty Run Run if anyone is looking for accommodation, we highly recommend. The site is peaceful, well equipped, and suited our needs perfectly. Mark is a wonderful host, very accommodating and kind. He has done wonderful job of cultivating this site which was recently opened prior to our arrival. We stayed in the powered site 1. We were very happy with the clean and tidy grounds and beautiful backdrop of trees, red dirt and wildflowers. The track behind our site was a beautiful walk with lots of kangaroos and birds to be seen. Camp host very friendly and welcoming. We loved the views of neighbouring farm land from our camp-site, Paddock 2. There was a herd of cattle that walked past every afternoon and plenty of birds to spot and listen to.
