Valley View - Chittering

Valley View located about an hours drive north of Perth city is a working farm with a  valley views and a large bush/forest area great for campers.
Campers can stay amongst the trees near a water catchment area.
You can experience the wildlife such as the many variety of birds, kangaroos, emus, and you may even see an echidna.
With the seasons the bush is always changing. The are many wildflowers to see.
The area is very peaceful great for that quiet getaway.
Bindoon town site is approximately 12minutes away or Toodyay about 35 minutes away. There is many bush walking sites located nearby in the shire of Chittering.

Chittering Acres

We live on a picturesque 700 acre property, high in the Darling Range an hour north of Perth. The property overlooks Lake Chittering with sweeping views to the horizon.The native bush here is typical of the Darling Ranges, featuring Jarrah, Marri, Wandoo, Xanthorea and Banksia. Fed by the mighty Brockman river, the pretty Chittering Lake is almost completely obscured by vegetation. The lake features lots of birdlife including swans, wood ducks, spoonbills and wedgetail eagles. The Chittering valley has much to offer including scenic walks and local cellar doors. The springtime is full of the region's wildflowers, and if you're visiting around October don't miss A Taste of Chittering, the food and wine festival showcasing local produce. We have a number of campsites on offer for your relaxing holiday.

Camp on this 7.5 acres property in Woodridge Western Australia. A short drive to the Moore river, the beach or the  coastal town of Guilderton.Swimming pool on site which guests can use. Supervised swimming for children under age off 13yrs.Toilet and shower facilities, canoe hire, bike hire, amazing off road tracks to some great fishing spots. Local brewery opening December 2021 , local  restaurant opens all day 7 days a week, golf course and tennis courts.  Seabird Tavern a must visit.Stars at night are AMAZING.

Raptor Retreat

Welcome to Raptor Retreat, on the doorstep of Whiteman Park. It’s the perfect location if you love birds, in particular Raptors. 

The campsite is located at the back of the 5 acres property on solid ground. The area surrounding the campsite is farm land but beyond the fence is 4000 hectares of native bushland. Plenty of areas for bushwalking or photography. 

The property is home to the WA Birds of Prey Rehabilitation and educational centre. 

 The Swan Valley is only a short drive when you can experience local wines and produce.

Campers must be either self sufficient with their own camping toilet and take all waste with them on departure when located at the back of the property. 

Alternatively,  at the front of the property, toilets and bins are available. 

Campfires are only permitted at certain times of the year, please check with your host before lighting a fire.

One Green Sheep

One Green Sheep is a 500 acre working farm north of Bindoon, Western Australia, with beautiful breakaways and valleys, patches of natural vegetation and old stand trees in amongst pockets of cropped land. We are just over an hour from Perth at the very north end of the Darling Range with enormous starry night skies.

My husband Kim and I have a strong focus on the environment and sustainability in our every day lifestyle and care for the land. Over the last 10 years we have planted almost 58,000 trees and shrubs successfully establishing wildlife corridors right across the property. We now also have 8 artificial nest tubes to support the Carnabys black cockatoos who return each August to breed.  Our intention is to leave the land in a better state than when we first came here and we now want to share the wonderful environment with others, providing a place to get away and recharge as well as get excited about nature and all its wonders.   

In line with our environmental focus, we ask campers to Leave No Trace. This means you will need to have your own toilet facilities with you, you will need to take all your rubbish away with you and leave your car parked for the duration of your stay. As fallen timber is precious habit for small creatures (it’s not firewood!) you will need to either bring firewood with you, or you can purchase some from us.

Dogs are welcome but please keep them with you and don’t let them chase stock or wildlife. You are welcome to bring push bikes, or to explore on foot.

We’d love to welcome you to this wonderful ecosystem. You will be camping in an area natural bush that feels a million miles from the city.

Everything Horses Ltd

5 beautiful acres in the Swan Valley with horses, we run a horse rehoming charity from here where all proceeds from hipcamp go to support our facility. Along with plenty of horses, you'll also see kangaroos at certain times and our pet sheep Jamima who thinks she's a horse!

A superb property with a winter creek and an open paddock where the horses live. It's very peaceful. There are only two camping sites available on this wonderful property at any time so privacy is assured. 

There is also a dam on the property so please mind any children with absent swimming abilities.

Campfires are allowed during the season, and there is a toilet and shower available in the shed 100 meters from the camping area. 

Smaller groups booking the campsites will have full access to the toilet and shower. Please note, however, we offer a group camping option for larger groups but those booking this option must be fully self-contained as our facilities are not enough to support a large group. 

We have a strict Leave No Trace policy here, we kindly ask that you take all rubbish with you when you leave. We also ask that you please do not feed the horses. 

The property is well located to access many great wineries and cafes in the famous Swan Valley area, some within walking distance.

Security here is taken care of by Mr security guard "aka" Smoky our pet dog. He's very safe and timid. If you get a pat from this boy I know you're good, so beware! We are dog friendly here, so you're welcome to bring mans best friend and we also have a secure yard to house any pets if you need a break, so long as they don't hassle the horses. We may also be able to accommodate your horse - please discuss this with us prior to booking.
