Welcome to Raptor Retreat, on the doorstep of Whiteman Park. It’s the perfect location if you love birds, in particular Raptors.
The campsite is located at the back of the 5 acres property on solid ground. The area surrounding the campsite is farm land but beyond the fence is 4000 hectares of native bushland. Plenty of areas for bushwalking or photography.
The property is home to the WA Birds of Prey Rehabilitation and educational centre.
The Swan Valley is only a short drive when you can experience local wines and produce.
Campers must be either self sufficient with their own camping toilet and take all waste with them on departure when located at the back of the property.
Alternatively, at the front of the property, toilets and bins are available.
Campfires are only permitted at certain times of the year, please check with your host before lighting a fire.

Great location just 5 minutes out of Toodyay. Very quiet and private. This property would be much better if there were flat level areas to setup. When we visited the weeds were quite tall. Some mowed grass would be nice.

It was a great experience to camp at Jason’s farm. Directions were clear and Jason welcomed us on arrival. Trip to Toodyay is just 5-6min drive.
The other campers were so far away that it truly felt like we have this place all for ourselves. My little boy loved going on “adventures” and exploring the field.
We got very lucky and had no moon, so stargazing in the late evening was breathtaking.
Car noises were noticeable, but not too bad, even during the night.

Very spacious sites and bacause you can camp anywhere you are well away from neighbours. Some sound from the passing road but not enough to be a nuisance. A nice track around the paddock to take a stroll and plenty of firewood available! Thanks for your hospitality Jason

We loved staying at Toowoo farm. There is plenty of room to camp anywhere. Correspondence with Jason was prompt. There is plenty of fire wood on the property and Jason delivered a load to us.

Large, pretty flat, clear area in front paddock on the bend at back. Lovely outlook. Great fire pit and host happy for you to gather firewood. Good location to explore Toodyay and surrounds. We were lucky with spectacular weather. Great spot. Didn’t want to leave.

We had a great time staying for 3 nights on Jason’s land. We were so relaxed we wished we could have stayed longer. Plenty of space to spread out. You can either tuck yourselves amongst or nearby trees or be out in the open. We chose an open space for our solar. Stunning views!

Yvonne’s Raptor Retreat was a treat! We enjoyed the animals and we were lucky enough to get a tour thanks to Yvonne. It was well situated from the airport which suited us since I was flying into Perth. Well secured property. Close to the city - basically close proximity to everything.
