The Scout Camp is located within a short distance to many hikes, bushwalks, lakes and other natural attractions. Scouts use and love this location, so we are offering it for others to enjoy too. By staying here you are helping us with funds to improve the camp. The Scout Camp has bunkhouse accommodation that can sleep 60, plus 10-15 caravan sites (about 4 powered). The creek relies on seasonal rainfall, and when running, is deep enough for swimming or paddling around in a kayak. When dry, the creek bed makes a fantastic walking track. If you are looking for a unique family holiday, or you are an artist and want to do some songwriting or painting, or just need to get out of the rat race and chill out, then this could be just the place for you. 10 mins to Murtoa, 15 mins to the Dooen Hotel, 20 mins to Horsham, 30 mins to Warracknabeal, 40 mins to the Grampians or Mt Arapilies. A perfect base to explore the renowned Silo Art Trail, Murtoa Stick Shed, local lakes and waterways, state and national parks, and many other regional attractions. A great spot for big groups, the commercial kitchen was well stocked with appliances and utensils to cook lots of meals for everyone. Plenty of space around the grounds to relax in. Also plenty of great things to see nearby

2 nights at Yarriambiance

We loved staying at the tiny cabin. This is our second stay at Mayfair and it gets better every time. The location is unparalleled, right in front of a creek. The facilities are top notch - we love the fire stove - sparkling clean and comfortable. There is plenty to do around, from hiking to antiques shopping. The people are friendly and absolutely everything is worth the trip, not least our hosts. Thanks to Paul and his family for keeping this magic place running. Make sure you bring some carrots for Gobi and Mo, the camels. They love them!

2 nights at Yarriambiance

Our family loved the uniqueness of the truck. It had everything we needed. We loved the attention to detail eg. The pre-prepared wood in the pot belly stove. Well stocked with crockery etc. Queen bed was comfy. Can imagine how nice it would be to sit out in the deck on a warmer evening to watch the sunset. Loved it!

Beautiful place! Toilet and kitchen facilities are clean and confortable. Got a bit of issues with mosquitoes in the cabin, so be aware of that! We will definitely want to go back.

Gorgeous tiny house on remote country farm land. Really well equipped and comfortable. Friendly and helpful hosts. Would highly recommend for anyone looking to get away for a quiet rural escape.
