Cherry Top Farmstay

This is an organic farm, Lilydale Organic Vegetable Enterprises, better known as "LOVE". Bring your RV/motorhome, caravan or tent and visit!
We offer mountain views in a quiet country setting. Our small farm offers a flat camping spot or place for your motor home with it's own access. We do have a toilet for campers and wifi also at the farmhouse. Hire a fire pit with your booking and we'll supply some wood. Washing machine by arrangement. The Lilydale Pool is open 3-6pm in summer and is 1km and free for showers.
 When you arrive with a big trailer enter through the WOODEN GATES and stay on the flat. Walk up and visit the farmhouse.
If you are after something more comfortable you can book the self contained cottage or villa in our other listing.

Geese are double fenced, they may fire up and make a noise from time to time. Any pets must be under control for the duration of your stay. 

Fairview Farm Ringarooma Tasmania

Our property runs beef and cultivates crops alongside the Ringarooma river, North East Tasmania. We often host mountain bike riders here to access the world-class trails at Derby. Nearby are many marked mountain trails, and numerous falls. Skiing is 1hr away in the winter.

Our camping site is alongside cattle grazing paddocks and the Ringarooma river, and we offer one site only, to one group at a time, so it's yours exclusively. A toilet is available nearby.

A gravel track descends to the river with a short steep bank preceding the flats. When the track reaches the river the camping site is just through the gate on the right. One gate and two wire gates may require opening on the way and these gates need to be closed again to prevent cattle from wandering. Electrical fencing is in use and alive - please be careful! 

Wood for your campfire is available to purchase, $15. I can supply fresh sourdough loaves $6 also fresh eggs $3perhalf doz, and fresh cows milk most of the year $5/2L. Fly fish for trout and cook over the coals for a treat. 

Welcome to bring your dog along, but please keep them under control.

Penpol Park

Located just 40 min drive from Launceston, Penpol Park is a beef grazing property next to the world renowned Bridestowe Lavender Farm.

We offer a camping experience among serene natural bush with creek frontage. With plenty of space to set up a tent or too park a caravan. Amenities are basic and would suit the self contained. All pets are welcome and the camping area is fenced. 

Bridport, Scottsdale and Lilydale are a short 15-20 minute drive. While mountain bikers paradise Derby is a 35 minute drive.
   

Black Cottage Farm

Black Cottage Farm is situated on a tranquil 13.5 acres of beautiful green pasture that we cut hay from each year. We offer a powered site near to the main residence and several unpowered sites on our paddock, all sites require campers to have their own toilet. 

Lilydale is predominately dairy and cattle country with several vineyards nearby including Jansz, Clover Hill and Pipers Brook to name a few. We are just a two minute drive or 20 minute walk from Lilydale township and centrally located to lots of activities and sightseeing. 

Activites include hiking Mount Arthur, visiting Lilydale Falls, Hollybank Adventures for zip lining, high ropes and Segways and Derby is an hour away for all your mountain biking trails. There is also fishing, swimming and boating at Bridport. Launceston is an easy 20 minutes drive. 

If you are lucky whilst here you may get to see the wedge tail eagles that call Mount Arthur home along with lots of other wild life including wallabies, possums and an abundance of bird life.

I'm a private, quiet person who works from home therefore I am around should you have any questions, but also will leave you in peace to enjoy the space privately.

The Forest

Explore northern Tasmania with this affordable base camp. Stay for up to 29 nights per booking.

There are are a few things to do on the property if you don't feel the need to travel. There are a few trails throughout the forest perfect for quad bikes, short bushwalks and wildlife spotting. There is a large dam in a secluded spot that would be a great place to swim on a hot summer's day
