The property is a private farm with 2 dams and views extending across the valley. There are a number of suitable locations to for bush camping. Site access is limited to dry weather and vehicles with single axle camper trailer or tent. Vehicles with higher ground clearance are more suitable. The River Upstream is the flattest of the campgrounds if you require a completely level site for your vehicle. A number of alpacas and sheep share the camp grounds. Sites suit bush camping with limited amenities. Potable water is available upon request but there are no toilets or services on site. There are a number of great wineries in the area all with excellent food and produce you can enjoy. Close to: Hahndorf - 5 min drive Stirling - 10 min drive Mount Lofty - 15 min drive Tour Down under (TDU) - passes at the end of the road several wineries Campers must be self contained with their own camping toilet and water and take all rubbish with them upon departure. Due to the livestock on site dogs unfortunately are not allowed. 1. Fires are only permitted outside of fire ban days 2. Potable water is available on request. Please contact the host 3. Nearest toilets are in Mylor. Please do not do number 2's in the bush or leave toilet paper around. 4. Please leave the site as you found it (remove rubbish etc.) 5. Pindari Park is a beautiful 130 acre CLIFF TOP property that offers both North and South views of the River Murray. Situated on the western bank (cliff side) overlooking the most Northerly point of the river and the township of Cadell SA. Our property does have a rocky underlay, due to the cliff, recommended that drill tent pegs are used. ALL CAMPERS ARE TO BRING THEIR OWN FIREWOOD, NO COLLECTION OF FIREWOOD ALLOWED ON THE PROPERTY. Pindari means “From the high ground” from the aboriginal origin and was originally apart of the Nor’ West Bend Station (est. 1850) that stretched from Overland Corner to Burra. The Nor’ West Bend Station next door is now a heritage listed private residence. With Pindari Park’s scattered native trees, saltbush and mallee shrubs bringing an abundance of wildlife to the property, sit back, relax and enjoy the serenity. While you sit at the camps sites, enjoy watching the Cadell Ferry, appreciate birds and wildlife, or just enjoy the river boats on their journey up or down our mighty River Murray. You just might be able to catch one of the cruise boats or paddle steamers cruise past, make sure you give them a wave as they pass by. Pindari Park has many gravel roads and tracks to follow for taking a hike/walk, however, please note that this property is on a cliff, therefore it may not be suitable for young children and caution must be taken at all times. Each campsite has a fire pit area that can be used during May to October each year (fire ban period is November to April each year). ALL CAMPERS ARE TO BRING THEIR OWN FIREWOOD, NO COLLECTION OF FIREWOOD ALLOWED ON THE PROPERTY. Take a drive into to Morgan (9 kms) and visit the Old Wharf Port and the Landseers Museum or catch the Cadell Ferry and head across the river to visit the Spook Hill Winery or to use the local boat ramp. Notes: - Cliff-top property, may not be suitable for young children. Caution to be taken at all times. - NO River Access. - NO dumping of rubbish. - NO dumping of toilet waste, nearest dump points are located in Morgan and Cadell. - Pets/Dogs – must be on a lead at all times. - Nearest Boat Ramp – Cadell. - Cadell and Morgan both have fuel distributors and general stores.

The site is suited to people who want a quiet secure base from which to explore the region. Camp site is fully fenced on 5 acres. No chemicals used on the block. The camp site is on a section of 5 acres of this property. Its location is approximately 5 min drive from the Murray River where you can enjoy boating, swimming, and fishing at Woodlane Reserve. Majestic river red gums in the area make for beautiful walks along the bitumen road as seen in the photos. Mypolonga is a small agricultural town. The location is reasonably quiet however at peak times you may be able to hear boats from the river, or the other agricultural pursuits on the farms. The location is approximately 20 km from Murray Bridge and 1 hour from Adelaide and the Barossa Valley. Monarto Safari Park is 25km away and there is private wetlands Paiwalla on the opposite side of the river which you visit by kayak/canoe or drive. We are currently not allowing children or dogs. Cats are acceptable. Potable water is available at the site. A small extra fee will be charged depending on your requirements. If you need a protected area for your gas burner cooking there is a solid brick room available also.

Magnificent site overlooking the mighty Murray high on the clifftop. Had a lovely chat with Sue our host who had lots to share with us about the farm and her experiences. The sites are large and very well spaced so you don't have anyone close. Would highly recommend this place to anyone who doesn't have small kids as the cliff is a sheer drop.

Beautiful spot, very peaceful and quiet. I had the place to myself which was nice. I was a little early and managed to find Rob, it wasn't an issue, very welcoming. The river is calming and the bird life is abundant, all combined makes for a relaxing camp.

Perched on top of a cliff with the most stunning views over the river and beyond, this camp site was exactly what we needed to sit back and relax. It has its own access road, it’s a good distance away from other sites and it has a few bushes in between you and the others, which increases your sense of privacy. Walking distance to Cadell and just a short drive to Morgan. And lastly, the hosts are lovely people who were very kind to us. Highly recommended.
