Set behind the beautiful Mt Lofty Ranges in the Adelaide Hills and only 20 minutes from the city. Our farm has a Bernese Mountain Dog named Lotti, 6 ducks, 4 chooks, and a cat named Alfie. Surrounded on one side by National Park and the other by vineyards and plenty of wineries. The next township is just a few minutes away and has all the necessary needs (pharmacy, GP, pub, general store). Within 10 minutes you can rock climb or go swimming in a fresh waterhole. It’s a beautiful part of the world.

We have 6 sites to choose from. Some walking trails being developed with more to come.. I have put bins out for you and put a tap on in the top corner for washing hands and dishes. Not for drinking. Welcome to our home Tanah Merdeka! Enjoy a private and picturesque camp-site by the creek with views of rolling hills, rocky outcrops and ancient gumtrees. Watch the Kangaroos and the birdlife, see if you can spot a yabbee or frog in the creek and sit back and unwind. Tanah Merdeka is a 184 acre cattle farm currently stocked with Black Baldies, Speckle Park, Angus and Hereford. The creek line paddocks are dedicated to Hipcampers, so you can be assured your campsite won't be interrupted by curious cows during your stay. We can't say the same for the wild kangaroos that call Tanah Merdeka home though. Please be respectful of the working nature of the property and shut any gates you go through except for the automatic gates. Please respect our privacy and don't venture up the driveway towards the house. You are welcome to walk through and explore the paddocks containing the creek line. Do not drive across the creek - walking and bicycles only. Please do not feed the wildlife or the cattle and practice leave no trace camping. For stays longer than one night campers must bring a portable chemical toilet. Use only the firepit provided and comply with current fire danger restrictions. Some firewood may be available next to the firepit but please bring your own firewood if intending to have a fire as this can't be guaranteed. Dogs are allowed off lead within the fenced camping paddock but be aware of grass seeds. Please be respectful of our neighbors and the property. Enjoy your stay!

I absolutely loved camping at the plateau. Its such a beautiful serene place. Fantastic for the rugged style camping. The views are spectacular and Jarrod is such a fantastic host. Make sure you have a strong sturdy tent, I recommend a dome tent as the winds can get intense sometimes as your very high up. This style of camping is for experienced campers. I loved every part of it and I will definitely be going up there regularly.

Such a great bush camp with motorbike track. Helpful and communicative host, peaceful and so much space. Rubbish bins provided as well as fire pits. Hard to find a place that allows motorbikes but this camp even has a motorbike track which provided hours of entertainment for the kids. We absolutely will be back, a new fave!
