Spear Creek is more than just another Holiday Park.
Set immediately adjacent to the Western slopes of the Flinders Ranges in the middle of a 21,000 acre working sheep station providing privacy, security and an experience like no other.
Spear Creek is located 25 kilometres south-east of Port Augusta, only 12km off Highway 1. Our eastern boundary follows the summit of the ranges north from Horrocks Pass, with walking trails through deep gorges to range top views of upper Spencer Gulf. The Holiday park is nestled amongst 600 year old river red gums adjacent to the ranges.
You may meet any of the three different species of kangaroos, echidnas, or 85 species of birds including wedge-tail eagles and peregrine falcons who call Spear Creek home.
The owner operators of this tourism business are fourth generation, whose families have been farmers and graziers on this land for over 130 years.

Great area, nice view of flinders ranges. Felt really private considering it’s a holiday park which is really good, not much crowding at all. Found a nice shady spot on a sunny day. People there are really nice, easy to talk to and are very helpful. Highly recommend as I would stay there again.

My partner and I are doing the big drive from QLD to WA and this was by far one of our favourite spots. The most lovely welcoming owners, insane views, beautiful and spacious sites, and great food available at reception. Access to great 4WD tracks was also cool to see. We only had the pleasure of staying one night, we would love to go back for a few days to explore the area better. Make sure you buy some of the award winning fresh meat and eggs too!

We stayed here for a few days just before Xmas, we found it to be very easy to locate. Camp managers were great to deal with. The camp ground set in a stunning setting. Very quite, gum trees all around, just beautiful for a few days of relaxing. The facilities were great. Clean toilets great laundry. Didn't use the showers but they were also well cared for when we had a look. We will be back. Thank you spear Creek camp

Lovely spot among the gumtrees along the dry creek at the foot of the hills. Gorgeous.
Camp hosts super helpful. Fresh farm lamb for sale which we cooked that night in the camp kitchen.

We had a fantastic stay at Spear Creek Holiday Park. The land is stunning, with views of the Southern Flinders Ranges. Our caravan site came with water and power, which made things super comfortable.
The barista coffee cart, run by the lovely Anna, was a morning highlight (Melbourne coffee snob approved).
We also picked up lamb from their farm as well as wine from the kiosk, which was stocked with essentials like milk and marshmallows—things we definitely would have needed if we’d stayed longer.
Evenings around the fire pits were a perfect way to unwind. A great mix of outback adventure and creature comforts.

Long drive to get to the camp but well worth it, the campsite was surrounded by trees, hills to climb, amazing sunsets and friendly staff. It was clean, spacious and dogs had a great long walk along the trails. I felt like I was at a bush camp but with showers, power, a little kiosk and a coffee van.

Lovely peaceful bush camping but with the benefits of power, water, ammenities and a good selection of their produce as you check in. We tried the lamb chops, sausages and wine. Highly recommend the food, wine and location. Several walks to choose from and fire pits to enjoy!

Wow, what a great secluded property nestled amongst the hills of the Mt Brown Conservation Park. A great variety of campsites available with or without power. The Bush camp was well out of the way and very private. Amenities were adequate and clean. Staff were all friendly and they make an excellent coffee at the kiosk in the morning. A great place if your looking for some peace and quiet. Highly recommended. Will stay again.
