Spear Creek is more than just another Holiday Park.
Set immediately adjacent to the Western slopes of the Flinders Ranges in the middle of a 21,000 acre working sheep station providing privacy, security and an experience like no other.
Spear Creek is located 25 kilometres south-east of Port Augusta, only 12km off Highway 1. Our eastern boundary follows the summit of the ranges north from Horrocks Pass, with walking trails through deep gorges to range top views of upper Spencer Gulf. The Holiday park is nestled amongst 600 year old river red gums adjacent to the ranges.
You may meet any of the three different species of kangaroos, echidnas, or 85 species of birds including wedge-tail eagles and peregrine falcons who call Spear Creek home.
The owner operators of this tourism business are fourth generation, whose families have been farmers and graziers on this land for over 130 years.

Pichi Richi Park is our family owned and operated property, 13km south of Quorn in the heart of the Pichi Richi Pass.
We have plenty of campsites, including bush campsites that are secluded and private, along with campsites that are much closer to our bathrooms, group accommodation, kitchens and bush cabins.
Here at Pichi Richi Park, there are a number of signposted walking tracks ranging in distance from a few km up to a 10km+ loop. The Heysen Trail comes through our property for nearly 7km and some of our own walking tracks link with the Heysen as it meanders through our property.
You can also ride your mountain bike around and the Mawson Bike Trail is not far away.
We have over 1,000 acres of land around our accommodation that we do not graze as we are allowing this beautiful piece of Aussie outback to return to its original and pristine state.
We are not a caravan park, so all campers and caravanners that come here get a fair bit of space and nobody is on top of anyone else.
Quorn is our local town and is 13km away to the north. Quorn has 2 pubs, a number of cafes and a little supermarket that is open from 7am to 8pm 7 days a week.

Our favourite stop so far (Melb to Perth) clean facilities, friendly and quiet. Purchased lamb for dinner was delicious. Great place to do laundry and tidy up after 4 days off grid.

Great area, nice view of flinders ranges. Felt really private considering it’s a holiday park which is really good, not much crowding at all. Found a nice shady spot on a sunny day. People there are really nice, easy to talk to and are very helpful. Highly recommend as I would stay there again.

My partner and I are doing the big drive from QLD to WA and this was by far one of our favourite spots. The most lovely welcoming owners, insane views, beautiful and spacious sites, and great food available at reception. Access to great 4WD tracks was also cool to see. We only had the pleasure of staying one night, we would love to go back for a few days to explore the area better. Make sure you buy some of the award winning fresh meat and eggs too!

We stayed here for a few days just before Xmas, we found it to be very easy to locate. Camp managers were great to deal with. The camp ground set in a stunning setting. Very quite, gum trees all around, just beautiful for a few days of relaxing. The facilities were great. Clean toilets great laundry. Didn't use the showers but they were also well cared for when we had a look. We will be back. Thank you spear Creek camp

Lovely spot among the gumtrees along the dry creek at the foot of the hills. Gorgeous.
Camp hosts super helpful. Fresh farm lamb for sale which we cooked that night in the camp kitchen.

Me, my partner and our cat had the best time possible at Spear Creek! All the staff was lovely, and helpful. We are very thankful for everything, and a honourable mention for Jordan and Anna, who made our 1 night there unforgettable!

We had the best time with our 3 kids and dog! The site Hamish suggested was close enough to the toilets but we still felt secluded. Kids loved the volley ball court, riding bikes and exploring. Lovely to have a fire and the hike up the hill is excellent. Loved Warren Gorge as a nearby dog friendly hike.

We had a fantastic stay at Spear Creek Holiday Park. The land is stunning, with views of the Southern Flinders Ranges. Our caravan site came with water and power, which made things super comfortable.
The barista coffee cart, run by the lovely Anna, was a morning highlight (Melbourne coffee snob approved).
We also picked up lamb from their farm as well as wine from the kiosk, which was stocked with essentials like milk and marshmallows—things we definitely would have needed if we’d stayed longer.
Evenings around the fire pits were a perfect way to unwind. A great mix of outback adventure and creature comforts.

We loved our stay at Pichi Richi Park. The view we had was beautiful and got to see lots of wildlife. We went on the Pichi Richi train and could see our swags through the hills as the train went by. I would recommend staying there.

The facility is well looked after and the shower block is very well maintained.. It's a charming and beautiful location just out of Port Augusta where you can find good coffee and shops. Check-in was easy and the tent site was perfectly situated and spacious. Great views!
Only thing, they charged us $20 for firewood but the amount of wood was little.
Recommend you bring your own bag of firewood as it is not aloud to collect firewood in the reserve.
Very convenient and lovely with bush walks and pristine views.

Awesome views with a Good level camp pad. We felt like we were way out in the national Park, however we were not far out off the services of Quorn.Excellent walking hikes all close by such as Devils Peak and Warren Gorge.Highly recommend.
