We run a sheep and cropping farm which creates beautiful camping grounds at the foot of the hills, just below the Heysen Trail. The campsites are located on the pasture paddocks of the farm with sheep roaming the area, so dogs on leashes at all times, and please pick up after them. With large distances between other campers, each site can cater for large groups, with no close neighbours. The sites are at least 2km away from busy roads, so absolute peace and privacy! There's a beautiful push bike ride from Riverton to Clare Valley and all the wineries are along the way. Plenty of room at the property for kids to ride their push bikes. Fantastic sunsets and sunrises from all sites, and at its best at the SUNSET BAA. Beautiful bird noises, including the kookaburras having a laugh. There's a very very basic "long drop toilet" pit toilet located near the Gumtree paddock and 5 others shared, down close to the camping paddocks, if not wanting to use shared toilets, please bring and supply your own portable toilet. Great Hotels/pubs to dine in at Tarlee and Riverton. Emporium cafe for the best coffee in Riverton Important Information to know before ALL GUESTS/VISITORS MUST BE BOOKED IN BEFORE ENTERING OUR PROPERTY!!! All campers must check in BEFORE 8pm. If you are unable to arrive before 8pm, please make a booking for the following day instead. Generators are allowed on the unpowered sites, please respect other campers with turning them off by 10 pm at the latest. No chainsaws on property. Loud music not permitted, please turn silent by 8.30PM Pets are allowed, as long as they are on leashes at all times STRICTLY NO MOTORBIKES RIDDEN ON PROPERTY No rally driving. The Hay Valley Farm is perched on a ridge that looks west towards Mount Lofty and east towards Murray Bridge. We have stunning views from both sides of the ridge and in particular we get beautiful sunrise and sunset views. We are a working farm with a vineyard, orchard and livestock. Our farm is also situated right in the heart of the Adelaide Hills Wine region so we really do have the best of both worlds; stunning views & peaceful surroundings plus amazing wineries, restaurants, cafes and quaint country towns right at our finger tips. Picture waking up to beautiful views of the Mount Lofty Ranges on one side, stunning sunrise on the other and native birds singing sweetly all around you. At The Landing you'll be surrounded by big beautiful old gum trees in a peaceful farm setting. You'll see a variety of bird life, kangaroos and maybe even a koala or an echidna if you're lucky. The Landing is also situated right in the heart of the Adelaide Hills Wine region with amazing wineries, restaurants, cafes and quaint country towns right at your finger tips. PLEASE NOTE We closed until March 2026 due to high fire danger. Feel free to book ahead. Seven Sisters is perched on the Skilly Hills, the western side of the Clare Valley. Overlooking the Blyth Plains above Kybunga, the views are nothing short of stunning. Nearly every evening brings fabulous sunsets. Ideal for family stays or just a quiet spot to chill out. Bush walking in the Spring Gully National Park is just down the road and within 2klms is the Armagh to Spring Gully trail. Our neighbours include the fabulous Eldridge Wines, one of Clare Valleys best. Close by are many more fabulous wineries and one of the best Gin Distillers (in our opinion) in the Mid North, Sawmill Gin. The local taxi service is very accommodating and happy to come out to Seven Sisters. I believe they will also ferry you to wineries in the area. Seven Sisters is a hilly grassland with wooded areas, creeks and rocky outcrops to explore. Anywhere within our boundary fence is there for you to explore. Our sites on the property are easily accessed. 2 sites on our farm road with a 4th site set at the back of the property which is very secluded. All sites have seasonal fire pits. Please don’t enter the fenced area around the house or go outside our boundary. Ideal for families or just a quiet stay.

Downhill Run Camping is located due west of Robertstown at the peak of the hills, a beautiful spot for caravans, campers, tents and swags. Spanning 50 acres the campsite offers breath taking views of the entire valley and is located directly on the lavender walking trail. There is a shared basic long drop toilet located near the south site but feel free to bring self contained units or find a nice tree! The campsites are located at the top of the hills in a pasture paddock so please make sure your dogs are on leashes at all times. The 2 sites are separated by a fair distance so there is plenty of room to enjoy for everyone even with large groups. A perfect spot to pitch a tent and admire the beautiful starry nights on the secluded hilltop The Clare and Barossa Valleys are only a short 45 minute drive away if you’re interested in a day out at the wineries. Or the lovely historic town of Burra is a 30 minute drive. The campsite is also conveniently located on the lavender trail which provides great scenery walks or cycles taking in the amazing view. There is a great Pub located in Robertstown which has cold beer and meals on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights if you are looking to get out of cooking for the night. The post office is also a great spot to duck in for a coffee and a chat to the locals. Whether it’s the breathtaking sunrise, the stargazing, the walking trails or bumping into a friendly kangaroo or 2 this campsite will not disappoint. The property is situated in the wonderful Adelaide Hills and offers the perfect location if you want to get away for a day or two and also be close to everything Adelaide CBD has to offer (approx 25 minutes to the city) and close to the Southern suburbs of Adelaide if you're catching up with friends and family.. Located behind the iconic Upper Sturt General Store you can come and go as you please. A fully cooked breakfast is included in the price for 1-2 people as you checkout at 10am on your last day. Simply come into the store when returning your keys and you will be rewarded with a yummy fully cooked brekky to send you on you way. The property offers an authentic bush setting with wattles and gums and the Belair National Park is right across the road which boasts walking trails, bbq facilities, wildlife and tennis courts. This was our first off grid stay in our brand new caravan - and we absolutely loved it. Beautiful property, and so relaxing. Trish was lovely, and very friendly, yet non-intrusive. (Nothing against Peter- but we did not meet him - sure he is equally lovely.) If we lived in the same state, we would definitely make this a regular stay. Thanks for letting us share your piece of paradise.

It's a large farm, off the beaten path, with a variety of different camping areas. Trish put us in an open field by a fire pit because there were high winds forecast overnight. You can hike up to a ridge with sunset views down to a broad valley. We were the only campers there that night and it was overcast and pitch black. There are sheep on the property and we had a herd visit our camp in the morning. It was easy to book online with quick confirmation and we drove there after having dinner in Clare. It was great for us and would recommend to anyone wanting something different away from the crowds.

We returned once again to an excellent camp-site surrounded by friendly sheep with lovely views of the hills, gum trees and open paddocks. We watched a pair of wedge-tailed eagles soaring along the nearby hills for hours. We were met by Trish upon arrival who was friendly and cheerful, as always.

What an absolute treat to experience Edgehill Farm. Trish goes over and above for guests - from a warm, personalised greeting at the gate on arrival, to chaperoning to your site alongside friendly banter, to giving you all the space and privacy you need to enjoy your stay, right through to firewood deliveries to your site and checking everything was ok before you leave. The location is just beautiful. Lovely to see the glow of other campsites dotted around the property at night - but never hearing or seeing another camper. Loved it so much, booked in 2 more stays whilst we were sitting around the campfire. Hoping to get to Sunset Baa next time! I can see why Edgehill has such a loyal cult following (a real credit to the hosts)… we now count ourselves members of the cult! Thank you for sharing your beautiful property with us!
