Camp 4 was lovely, nice little flat spot down by the toilet block to set up swags/tents. Heather was very approachable and helpful and it was a nice and private camp-site, just how we like it. Will definitely stay again, hopefully when the weather is better!

Our 2nd stay at Catninga. Campsite 2 had a great view of the Gulf, Port Augusta’s lights and the ranges behind us. Beautiful sunsets. The Peter Good Gully walk is a fabulous hike , with phenomenal views!! Very friendly hosts. We’ll be back.

A great campsite with lovely views and so peaceful. Road in a bit rough but I just took it slowly . I was the only one there and felt safe. Brian was very knowledgeable and helpful. Heather responsive in messaging - important as I only booked that morning. Much better than staying in Port Augusta.

We loved camping here. It was so beautiful and peaceful - most of our stay it was just us, the cattle and the kangaroos.. Heather was a fantastic host. We definitely recommend this magical spot!

Excellent bush camp at the beginning of Ikara Flinders Rangers Hamish is a great host and we slept well under a huge milky way Quiet and stunning scenery with lots of Kangaroos and emus and good hiking Also kitchen and bathroom facilities were spotless and very accessible. I would highly recommend recommend it to travelers

Great spot with excellent facilities. We shared an unpowered site with friends a short drive from the main area. The kids loved the table tennis and exploring about the camp area. Would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet spot that's not too far from Quorn. Both the pubs are great, the gin distillery is pretty good as is the Scrubby Fella (superb cocktails). The IGA is well stocked.

The huge land area with multiple possible camp locations means you’ll be away from others and experience the tranquility of this beautiful place. Hamish is a great host and Binky his faithful friend makes you feel very welcome.

We loved our short stay at Catninga . The camp sites are well spaced for privacy and have a long drop toilet. There are views towards the gulf and the ranges. The old gum trees are beautiful and with a welcome spot of rain the colours are amazing ! Birds, Roos, Emus and cows, all the wildlife you could wish for . We loved it and would definitely recommend. Stunning ! Heather was very welcoming and communication was great , thank you !

Magic place for an overnight (or longer). Very private and beautiful views to Port Augusta. If we stayed again would try and get the shower tree site as it has the same views but the cute outdoor shower as well.

Really appreciated SPEAR CREEK STATION caravan powered site. Clean amenities. Very helpful management staff. Lovely bush setting with spacious sites. Will return.

Spear creek was an awesome stay would highly recommend to travellers wanting a piece and quiet stay with views that will blow your mind! Hosts with high and happy energy very welcoming. All you need to a find get away :)

Wow just wow!! Such a stunning drive to camp and once we arrived at camp it was just beautiful. Staff so helpful friendly and polite The only downside was we had only booked for one night travelling back to Adelaide from Eyre Peninsula. We will definitely be booking to go again soon for longer! We bought some lamb to take home with us which we had last night and it was great, so tasty!

We loved our stay at Spear Creek. Beautiful bush setting. We also enjoyed the farm lamb and wine we purchased at the office. The staff were super friendly and we can’t wait to return in a few weeks time. Would highly recommend!!

Awesome place. We loved Catninga so much we stayed another night. The cattle roamed through the site. There were emus, roos and birds to sit back and watch. Incredibly peaceful place. The shower tree is something special too. Thank you Heather

Spear Creek is more than just another Holiday Park. Set immediately adjacent to the Western slopes of the Flinders Ranges in the middle of a 21,000 acre working sheep station providing privacy, security and an experience like no other. Spear Creek is located 25 kilometres south-east of Port Augusta, only 12km off Highway 1. Our eastern boundary follows the summit of the ranges north from Horrocks Pass, with walking trails through deep gorges to range top views of upper Spencer Gulf. Pichi Richi Park is our family owned and operated property, 13km south of Quorn in the heart of the Pichi Richi Pass. We have plenty of campsites, including bush campsites that are secluded and private, along with campsites that are much closer to our bathrooms, group accommodation, kitchens and bush cabins. Here at Pichi Richi Park, there are a number of signposted walking tracks ranging in distance from a few km up to a 10km+ loop. The Heysen Trail comes through our property for nearly 7km and some of our own walking tracks link with the Heysen as it meanders through our property. You can also ride your mountain bike around and the Mawson Bike Trail is not far away. We have over 1,000 acres of land around our accommodation that we do not graze as we are allowing this beautiful piece of Aussie outback to return to its original and pristine state. We are not a caravan park, so all campers and caravanners that come here get a fair bit of space and nobody is on top of anyone else. Quorn is our local town and is 13km away to the north. Quorn has 2 pubs, a number of cafes and a little supermarket that is open from 7am to 8pm 7 days a week.
