Great location. Lovely sunsets over the water. A pub with great meals on your doorstep. A great jetty. Caught several squid and had a brilliant fresh meal. Tidy and clean facilities, all in good working order. Good communication. Had a great stay :)

Weekend Trip to Mallee View Camping
We spent the long weekend checking out a few camp spots and Sturt Bay Bush Campground is definitely a winner.
Great facilities, and the warm showers are a real bonus after a day out exploring. The whole area is well kept, the sites are spacious, and everyone we met was really friendly.
David the host was fantastic and made us feel very welcome.
We’ll definitely be back.

We loved our unpowered site! It was so close to the boardwalk that leads you to the beach, also, it allows us to go get a lovely short walk to the jetty. Love that we get to greet other guests who were walking along the boardwalk too. Our site must be a quiet area in low season and in our personal experience, the trees sheltering us were pruned well, short enough to have gazebo standing underneath. Amenities are great! Really good for young children and families. Friendly staff and great marketing!

We took a group of friends here for their first camping experience. Lots of space, and the amenities (toilet, hot showers, communal kitchen) helped ease them in to the camping lifestyle.
David and Michelle were such great and welcoming hosts and were very easy to communicate with. We definitely will come back and highly recommend this campsite

Loved our stay in Moonta. Great location right next to the jetty with a secure gate to cut through. Cafe next door, owners were super reasonable with all the dogs there. Facilities are well looked after, clean showers and toilets, green grass and all the activities for kids. Will definitely be back

Absolutely amazing. We camped in a tent but most people hand caravans. The camps are very close together so was a bit loud on occasions for the kids at night.
The facilities were amazing, big kitchen, toilets and showers were clean, powered and running water made it easy for a young family. Right on the beachfront so the views were incredible and the kids loved the splash park. The park on site isn’t under cover and so was too hot to use but they hard great fun anyway. Highly recommend
