Absolutely beautiful camp spot, and super close to Townsville which makes it the perfect little weekend getaway!
The camping areas were well cared for, with a lovely big fireplace. An incredible bonus was the short (under 200m) walk to Reid River where we swam, had a kayak and enjoyed the zipline!
The kids loved it just as much as we did!
We will definitely be back.

We just spent some time at this camping spot and it was absolutely beautiful. The wide open space made it feel peaceful and relaxing – perfect for getting away from it all. There were lovely country walks to enjoy, and a scenic walk down to the river that was a real highlight. It’s the kind of place where you can truly unwind and soak in the natural beauty. We would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet, picturesque camping experience. Thank you for such a memorable stay Rachel, we will definitely be back!

We loved camping at WillowVale Park. Site 1 makes it that little bit exclusive.
It’s a hidden gem waiting to be explored.
The grounds have ample space. Loved that they have a little camp fire area and access to the river. A little bit of a walk to the river but kids loved playing in the sand. Definitely will come back again. Maybe a little bit of clearing on the walking track due to snakes. Got to see emus which was cool!

We took our caravan into site 2 and had no trouble at all finding even ground. Great quiet spot with a good distance between yourself and site 1. About a 200m walk to the water from camp. Short distance from Townsville which made for a great overnighter. Got a load of firewood from Racheal and couldn’t get through the mountain of timber in the one night. Will try harder next time!

What a lovely spot. We really enjoyed our time at this spot. We stayed at site 1 and it was in good clean condition upon arrival. Fireplace was good too with the gate right next to camp to access the river. Thank you for having us and we'll be back for sure!

Such a nice tucked away property west of townsville, the owners are fantastic host only happened to bump I to them as they took some horses for a ride.
Extremely attentive and helpful would definitely come back. My daughters loved the horses nearby, we got to pat a few on our first night as they came to investigate our camp set up.
