Relax or get involved at The Peachy; an iconic, eco friendly, off-grid animal rescue farm. privately owned and publicly loved! Pat and interact with the friendly farm animals; including donkeys, alpacas, sheep, goats, cows, bunnies and guinea pigs, chickens and peacocks! All of our loving animals have been rescued as a tiny baby or taken in when their owners could no longer care for them. The dam is great for a cooling dip and there are kayaks here free for everyone to enjoy. Book the wood-fired pizza oven for a night (or day) Great undercover area with big family friendly table and surrounded by passionfruit vines and herbs! Book in 'extras' when you're booking a site or come and see us when you get here. Our outdoor bath is a peachy favourite and just so beautiful at night or on dawn/dusk. Message us for availability or book it as a camp site. Site name - NOT a campsite! Outdoor Heated Bath. There is a lovely nature playground for the kids and a well equiped community kitchen for all. The Peach Farm is centrally located within a 20 minute drive to close by attractions. Adventure; 4 wheel drive at Shark Bay. Swim; Iluka's famous beaches. Walk; Iluka Heritage Rainforest, from the lush rainforest to the amazing views at The Bluff. Explore; Yamba, Angourie, the Scottish town of Maclean. Most sites have a picnic table and a fire-pit and you can book a camp oven package in extras. It's fun and nothing beats a camp oven stew! Our community kitchen is a hub for get togethers and yarns, well equipped with a gas cooktop, kettle, cooking utensils, a BBQ, fridge/freezer, and plenty of tables. There are fresh herbs and eggs when in plentiful supply. Please use the worm bin for all your kitchen scraps. We have an amazing composting loo but NO SHOWERS yet. We are pet friendly however we do ask that you have your best friends on a leash AT ALL TIMES and please do not get too close to the alpacas, they are protectors and will become uneasy and distressed. We strongly believe in 'leaving no trace' so please be mindful of our animals, other happy campers and 'take only memories leave only footprints'.

Rainbow Farm is in its beginnings on a journey towards being a hobby farm with a mix of permaculture, biodynamic and regenerative farming with land for wildlife. Sleep peacefully to the sounds of the Orara River and wake to the sounds of the river and country life in our new listing Studio. There is an amazing outdoor plumbed bathtub that runs on filtered rainwater or river water, so you can relax and gaze at the stars at night! We have also recently installed an outdoor shower. Both of these are plumbed with hot and cold water and are a nice way to warm up after a dip in or paddle upon the refreshing spring fed Orara River. Enjoy the tranquillity of country life only fifteen minutes drive from Coffs Harbour. The Studio provides you with the opportunity to get back to nature, rest and relax away from hustle and bustle. Please note: * That we have outdoor amenities here- camp kitchen, washing up sink, outdoor bath, shower and composting toilets. *That there is a short walk from the designated parking spot to the campsite, it's not far at all. *'Vehicles are not able to be driven up or down the grassy slope to the campground. If you are sleeping in your car/van/rooftop tent, then your site will be on the driveway inside the Rainbow Farm Gate (see picture of Van on driveway) , with use of all campground amenities. If you are tent camping, then you can park your vehicle in our designated car parking area and set up in the campground. Things to do around here include: *Relax and enjoy the peaceful surrounds *Swim in the Orara River *Observe the beginnings of our Permaculture farm. *Enjoy bathing in the plumbed outdoor bathtub *Fish for bass during bass season *Play on our slackline *Eplore the Orara River with the kayaks and/or canoe available for your use *Sit by the fire at night and toast marshmallows. *Sleep to the sounds of nature Things to do nearby: *Explore nearby Bindarri National Park, Urumbilum Falls, Bangalore Falls and other local water holes and hikes. *Walk up Muttonbird Island and enjoy the views. Watch for whales during their migration season. *Visit the Big Banana No pets please.

Makatinga is a 2300 acre property situated on the Nymboida river 53km south west of Grafton. "The Studio" is an offgrid cabin on the bank overlooking the river. Access is by 4WD or high clearance vehicles only. Accommodation is open plan with 2 x queen bedrooms and 2 single beds down stairs. Theres a TV, kitchen, bathroom, seperate compost toilet and big under cover verander with bbq overlooking the river. All linen is provided . Activities include fishing, swimming, kayaking, hiking or just laying back on the daybed. All fishing is catch and release , please abide by fishing in NSW inland waterway rules.
