So Good Farm

We purchased our 200-acre property after it was devastated by the Summer 2019/20 bushfires.

We are new to farming and are learning to live on the land. The property came with sheep which we are also learning a lot about, we also have an extremely friendly kelpie named Sage.

We are interested in the idea of becoming organic farmers, love to do our bit for the environment, and want to live a more sustainable lifestyle. We grow herbs and vegetables, have a few fruit trees, and can't wait to plant more. We have fallen in love with farming life and want our farm to be a place of learning and enjoyment and can't wait to share the little place we call home.

So Good Farm is situated 20 minutes west of Pambula Beach on the Sapphire Coast. The property is surrounded by trees and is filled with an abundance of wildlife. There is a creek that runs through the property and a spring feed dam.

Plenty of walking tracks throughout the hilly property with amazing views at various spots, especially the peak of the property, if you are up for the challenge. The property also backs onto a national park. The closest town is only 5min away where you can pick up food supplies and fuel.

Figtree Camp @ Mystery Bay

Located a short stroll through the spotted gum forest to the beautiful waters of Mystery Bay beach.  A family-owned and run working beef cattle farm on 100 acres of farmland looking towards Gulaga Mountain. Just a 7 min stroll walk to the beach through the old bush trail, Historic Central Tilba 5 min drive, Bermagui 20 mins and Narooma township 8 mins.Easy access for all types of vehicles and our place suits any type of family-friendly, nature-loving camper, as long as you have your own toilet (no exceptions!) and own water. ☆ No amenities so campers will have to be self-contained with own toilet and leave no trace.☆ Pets considered on request, please enquire and advise breed and number of pets you'd like to bring before booking.☆☆please note, latest fire information-it is safe to visit the area. We have favourable conditions in the coming fortnight. We have not been in the fire zone, there can be a little smoke from time to time however minimal

Kangarutha Farm

Visit Tathra, but stay at Kangarutha, only 2km from the edge of town, and enjoy space, privacy and tranquillity.

We intentionally only have a limited number of campsites on our large property, so that you can enjoy camping in a natural setting away from the crowd.

Our stunning property is comprised of open paddock areas surrounded by large areas of native forests, and we border national park.

Enjoy the forest trails here on the property, which take you on a tour to our peaceful back dam. Or explore further afield - our place links to both the Tathra-Kalaru bike track and the Bournda National Park, where you can access the Tathra Mountain Bike Trail Network, as well as the secluded coves along the Kangarutha Walking Track.

Our property was home to the former and well-loved businesses 'Kangarutha Nursery', and 'On the Perch Bird Park'. We have been busy re-imagining these spaces.

We have drinking water, flushing accessible toilets and one hot shower a short walk from the campsites.

Our property is dog friendly for well behaved dogs that don't chase wildlife or the horses on our property. No hunting dogs.

Campfires permitted when there are no restrictions. You can gather your own wood, or we can prepare wood for you.

Earls Farm

Welcome to Earls Farm - River retreat

Only 12km south of Eden, this eco friendly, off-grid tiny house, covered in wildlife paintings, offers a unique rustic charm. Situated at the unspoiled Kiah/Towamba River, guests may enjoy swimming, fishing, paddling and bushwalking without the crowds, and/or relax and enjoy birdwatching in a private tranquil setting. On a clear night gaze at the stars from your bed.

2. Creekside is where the bus is parked (although the bus is no longer there!).

Merimbula Camping

200 acres of scenic farm paddocks with seasonal creek, and forested hills adjoining the Bournda National Park. See kangaroos, wallabies and wombats and if you are lucky an echidna or deer! Horses also live here and are separate from the main camping area.

Merimbula Camping is an ideal place to camp during Wanderer Festival 2024. 

We accept only a small number of campers to ensure everyone has a few acres each and peace and quiet to enjoy the natural surroundings.

Sites are generally more secluded as go from 1 to 10.

Sites are walking distance to a composting toilet (check site details).

Good phone reception.

Dogs welcome. They can go off leash if supervised during the day.

No loud music. No loud parties. No motorbikes. No generators. Please keep noise to a minimum.

5 mins drive to Bournda NP and Lagoon/Island/Beach, more beaches, Tura Beach Woolworths, petrol station.

10 mins drive to Merimbula, Magic Mountain and Tathra.

Kiah Wilderness Camp

Full privacy with only one group per secluded site. Spacious level grassy campsites on the Towamba River, a pristine estuary that runs into Twofold Bay. 10 minutes on bitumen south of Eden and close to many of the Sapphire Coast's stunning coastline, National Parks and attractions. 

We are not and never will be a 'caravan park' - your group will have exclusive use of the campsite. Each are far from each other, both are right near to - or very close to - the river. Our guests love the tranquility and not having to share!

Fish the river for flathead or bream and enjoy it for dinner by the campfire. Bring your kayak or SUP or just enjoy a swim in the clear sandy-bottom river.

Once you have booked let us know if you need more specific directions so you can find us easily. 

Well behaved (spoilt) dogs okay but please no hunting type dogs. Both sites have access to separate taps for fresh drinking water.  Site #2 has access to our composting toilet. You'll need to bring your own chemical toilet for Site #1 (near) Boatramp site. 

Firewood can be collected from the property or supplied at a small fee (you can book this when you book your site). Feel free to collect your own kindling - plenty around). Good mobile reception on the Telstra network.

PLEASE NOTE: the property is currently listed for sale. We are happy to take forward bookings with this understanding and will contact all booked parties well in advance if we sell. The market is very slow so we do not expect a fast sale and will ask for a long settlement so please still book :)
